There were only a couple of exempts that were real policeman and should have gotten the chief of patrol spot. Most people know who they are. Hein wasn’t really even in the running, but then got a huge political push and help from Tally, who ironically the superintendent now doesn’t like, booted her, and Hein cut ties with tally himself . his incompetence has permanently stained CPD. When crunch time came, he acted like a political pawn and not a police officer. There is no coming back from this. More to come on how he backstabs Snelling and Dana O’Malley… Get rid of this clown.
SCC the media along with other exempts that have had enough know the sad truth about Hein. A group of commanders complained at one point but were shut down immediately.
He’s been told to keep a low profile, but problem is several people he believes are his friends are leaking info all over the place. Couldn’t happen to a bigger dork.

I have no remorse for tools like Heins. This dude was cocky when Talley was holding his hand and assuring him that she had the ear of the mayor and other politicians. This guy cheated other more qualified white shirts out of a promotion to Chief of Patrol. This guy was living amongst the untouchables.
How about Hein taking care of Lil Timmy Schnoor again. Lil Timmy wanted out of his unit so he was put on 2nd watch in 017. Sent to a district and watch he couldn’t make the bid to.
I saw him at the uniform store last week as he was ordering a couple of 3 star bars because he knows conehead was so proud of him ordering the police to not help the feds
Hein was a do nothing as a blue shirt- we always wondered what him and his partner did all day - nothing ! Coupled with attitude, walking around like his shit didn’t stink , he was never liked back in the 024 days. Years later, he has never changed . A real D-bag.

But the real kicker is the phone call he was having. He was excitingly talking about how he wants to start focusing on officers who have been leaving work early and was talking about watching them leave work doing it. Well it doesn’t take a detective to guess where he works. This guy went to the 5th floor after only a few months on the street as a merit Sargent. All of that brown nosing in 24 really helped you didn’t it. I really hope someone at BIA reads this and gets you launched. You did the same shit on the tact team when Q was your boss. So now he gets stripes and he thinks he’s all high and mighty. Maybe he can get launched to midnights in 18. We all know that’s where your master is.

DROP: Deferred Retirement Option Plan
The Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP) is a popular feature of some FPPA retirement plans. DROP allows Members to build up a cash account in their final years before retirement. DROP is popular with Members who want to do things like start a business, settle outstanding debts, or pay off their home; basically any situation where the freedom of a lump-sum cash account is helpful.
How DROP Works
When a Member enters DROP, they will technically retire while continuing to work. They'll complete the retirement application, and their monthly lifetime benefit amount will be finalized.
Then, while working up to five more years, they receive their normal paycheck and benefits. But, because they are technically retired, FPPA deposits their monthly pension checks and Member payroll contributions into an investment account, building up a cash balance they can use once they stop working.
Important: Once Members enter DROP, they will not earn any more service credit to increase their monthly pension benefit.

I was at Binny's today and who do I see getting out of a Miller Lite truck to make a delivery? None other than the chief of patrol himself. I did not believe it but when he was loading up the dolly with cases of Miller Lite, I saw the name on his jacket. So, do not believe the story about him becoming 1st deputy.

Funny you mention the resident team. One of my PPOs told me that one of her classmates got fired because she was living outside of Chicago. Didn’t know we still had enough staff for that crap. Thought my PPO was lying haha
Bc it’s not the 5th floor that’s investigating these allegations. Several years ago and old timer told me about some confidential unit we had within 121. All they do is surveil officers. Guess he knew wat he was talking about..seems like this “m.a” fellow works for them and not the 5th floor. If that’s the thing, say goodbye to gun days backwards hats boys and girls. Confidentials out of IAD 5th flloor handles all surveillance...medical, residency, and their new big thing, coming late and leaving early. They are not out of 35th St. They have a satellite buiding. They don't take their coverts home so they don't burn them. They don't work special so they don't interact with anyone. Most were brought in by Talley from narcotics years ago. Now, DC T Walker & Lt J M supervise them. They will follow you everywhere and back it up with video and pics. Coverts usually have dark tinted windows. Their detectives handle all criminal case. They work a special watch and it's not 4th. Their office is said to be somewhere near the pumps in 018.
She’ll be made captain before JP leaves the office.
He learned everything from Quadri, that should tell you everything you need to know. Would spit in his own mother’s face if he could get to a better spot to advance his career. Thankfully he left 007, because he was making the watch miserable. He had a couple new pets that would follow him around and listen to his stories.

A serious question, how much time on the job do you need where it is respectfully ok to work inside. I have 29 years on, waiting to turn 55 and finally I am working inside, I actually feel embarrassed to work inside. Is it wrong for me to feel this way or did I earn my inside spot. I don’t want officers to look down on me because I work inside

The misinformation is funny. The confidential section indeed does surveillance. They will photograph you and video tape you and they have the resources to track your movements whether at work or in your personal vehicles. As for office, their office is in the west side somewhere not 18. And they absolutely drive their coverts home, some however choose do not. Just the other day I saw my old teammate in her covert so that’s nothing new. They definitely don’t have tints.They do not get canceled which is true so they don’t get burned. But if this m.a. really works there, then yes he absolutely can and most likely will keep tabs on all ranks coming and going during work hours. I know we have a medical abuse unit so all you medical abusers can clear because I know from experience, they do investigate you. I got lucky. I was actually sick and was able to show them documentation that I wasn’t lying which involved the FOP. Sometimes your claims are legit and sometimes they are not.

I only see white shirts leaving early in 014. Some don’t and stay the whole shift but most of them play games, coming in late, leaving early while if you show up late to roll call they counsel you or if you ask to leave early they write you up.
