Behind the Curve

  • All 14,000 Members of the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 have joined officers in New York and Los Angeles in calling for a boycott of Quentin Tarantino’s films.

“Tarantino has shown through his actions that he is anti-police,” the group’s president, John McNesby, said in a statement. “Mr. Tarantino has made a good living through his films, projecting into society at large violence and respect for criminals; he it turns out also hates cops.”

The statement comes after Tarantino participated in an anti-police brutality rally in New York City last weekend. “When I see murders, I do not stand by, I have to call a murder a murder and I have to call the murderers the murderers,” Tarantino told a crowd of protesters on Sunday.
So New York, LA and Philly have beaten FOP 7 to the punch on a slam dunk gesture. Deano must be following the Sparklefart dictate of "leading from behind" again.

This crew never says a word about anything. I thought Donahue didn't say much during his tenure, but Dean makes Donahue look like a chatterbox in comparison.

Right on SCC - add to your points made that the NYPD had just lost the 4th Officer this year and here is yet another blm protest on the heels of a police assassination. A Black Policeman no less. Will POTUS or at the very least Ms Lynch mob attend after all the nice words spoken @ the recent IACP speech?
This is yet another reason why Disability Deano should resign and let a working PO hold down the fort until the next election. He could at least written a "me too" letter.

RIP P O Holder, NYPD. God Bless all peace officers.

Deano doesn't know if rahm's brother has any connections to Tarantino or not. Once the picnic committee figures that out and reports back we will know deano's postion.

The fop should forbid its membership from working any security detail of any movie/ tv show that has an anti police actor, director or producer. For instance chiraq we should have sent a clear message to that pos and let all the savages down south know that they could do some friendly neighborhood apple picking in their own community.

Who cares. Lift residency.

Fight residency, FOP Lodge 7. Every other city where residency has been challenged in the courts, the requirement has been overturned as unconstitutional.

Wonder why residency is such a forbidden topic...hmmmm?

I WAS a big fan of Tarantino. He's proven to me he is just another liberal hollywood fuckhead. Fuck him, when his mansion is being burgarlized or his girlfriend is being attacked, he can call his hollywood buddies to save his punk ass. If there's any officers on the film detail to any of his movies being filmed now should just walk off the set. Let the opportunist have their way-steal all the fucking equipment.

BTW-whats going on with that huge pumpkin head of his? It gets bigger every time you see him.

The backlash develops --

North Carolina outlaws sanctuary cities

October 29, 2015

"North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory signed a bill into law Wednesday that bans any policy that interferes with the enforcement of federal immigration laws.

"The Protect N.C. Workers Act, HB 318, reins in local and municipal policies that disregarded federal law by providing sanctuary or "safe" cities, and public benefits like food stamps, for individuals illegally in the U.S.

"We cannot allow our local officials in towns and cities in North Carolina to make up their own rules that conflict with our nation's laws and our nation's values," the governor stated during the bill signing.

"The law also requires public contractors to verify a job applicant's right to work in the country through the Internet-based E-Verify program. The Federation for American Immigration Reform wrote that this provision will make it harder for illegal aliens to find employment, which would discourage illegal immigration and protect citizens' jobs."

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/10/29/north-carolina-outlaws-sanctuary-cities

There are also bills working their way through the House and Senate that would punish "sanctuary cities" by cutting off various Federal funding. THAT will really do it.

Handwriting is on the wall for Rahm's "Welcoming City." Flick that bug off the street-cart elote before you dig in, while wondering how long that mayo has been sitting out in the sun...

..and kindly leave the gnawed cob on the sidewalk, willya? To paraphrase Ray Malnati, "Rats need to eat too!"

Know your facts before condemning anyone. The grievance has not been lost. The 3 officers that filed a Federal Lawsuit lost that case in Federal Court!! the grievance is still proceeding!! Also the US Supreme Court has ruled in the past, that if part of your employment is to reside in the city that you work for, then you have to live in that city. You knew that when you took the job so if you want to move out of the city then move & quit your job!!

Get involved & make the FOP stronger!!

Dean's too busy drafting his letter about how the FOB wasn't involved in the tattoo lawsuit to focus on Tarantino. I suspect sometime in late November or early December, the lodge will take up the Tarantino rant, long after sticking his stubby little neck out to danger will have passed.

He's a shill for Rahm. Remember, Dean Angelo, Sr. Broke the story about the tax increase for the mayor. AND SUPPORTED IT.

The Nuremberg court judged publishers that incited violence against identifiable groups as murderers. By the same standard, Quentin Tarantino is a murderer. His incendiary and historically inaccurate film Django Unchained has incited murders of white people. These deaths are real. They're not the product of some addle-brained populace's imagination.

Paying for college was put into place because when it started almost no one had a degree. Now college is a requirement for terms of employment. Your lucky he saved anything. Look for the city to go after this even more nest time around. My guess is the city caved on this because Rahm wanted the contract settled before the re-election bid. The city's team want to do away with it in it's entirety.

Big problem on the job now is too much college and not enough grade school common sense.

Add another bellow from the police unions condemning director Quentin Tarantino and his movies, plus a slap from his own father, amidst continuing deafening silence from the Oscar-winning filmmaker.

"I love my son and have great respect for him as an artist but he is dead wrong in calling police officers, particularly in New York City where I grew up, murderers," said actor Tony Tarantino in a statement released Friday by the New York Police Patrolmen's Benevolent Association.

Think this is going to hurt Tarantino's financial acumen ? Good luck with that.

What we need are some positive Hollywood images of police. I can't remember anything positive about cops since HILL STREET BLUES, TURKS and ADAM 12.

I stopped watching CHICAGO CODE after a few episodes, that didn't last long. I also stopped watching CHICAGO P.D. because it was ridiculous that it was about a brutal crooked CPD Sergeant. The plots were predictable and a lot of the brutality could be replaced by being smart. Maybe I will write for them.

What we need is something like some Class A stars ranting on our side. I'd like to see Samuel L. Jackson, who played a CPD Sergeant in THE NEGOTIATOR, do a rant similar to his character in PULF FICTION Ezekiel 25-15, saying Who ever TOLD YOU the police were you enemy. And would end it "they are the finders of lost children."

How can we make a comparison between a movie and movie maker for entertainment making movies and the reality of murder as it accumulates in Chiraq,if you don't like a movie you don't go see it and influences, what influences ,porn, child porn that certainly influences but movies and violence have been in movies forever, also morals are taught and parenting is taught, right and wrong is taught,we can't blame murders on just one thing, and certainly not a movie, and not the police either!
