Congratulations on 400

  • Three people were killed and 20 others were wounded in shootings in Chicago over the weekend, including a 3-year-old boy killed by his 6-year-old brother while they were playing cops and robbers with their father's loaded gun, according to authorities.

So far this year, at least 2,434 people have been shot in the city. That's 347 more than during the same period last year and 583 more than in 2013. As of early Monday, there have been at least 404 people shot to death this year, 55 more than during the same period last year and 40 more than in 2013.
Chicago is pretty much leaving the last two years in the dust.

If we really apply ourselves, we can get to 500. 72 days left in 2015. It's a stretch, but not unattainable! Our shitheads are a class all their own.

You better up your game Chicago!
Baltimurder had 10 people killed the first week of October.
And after the six Freddie Gray cops are acquitted, they'll have a bunch more.

Can our lovely citizens get over 500 killed!
Can we beat the record for 2012?
Come on! I know Chicago can pile up those bodies if we really try.

If any city can have lots of senseless killings, It is Chicago.

Who is paying for all these shootings? Each shooting costs $113,000 !!

Between this and coddling of illegal immigrants, no wonder the state is broke!!

No wonder McMouth has been so quiet lately. Can't find a single reason to do a media circuit with crime so out of control. How crazy is Trump to say he'd hire McStupe because 'he knows so much about gangs?'

Doesn't seem like he knows shit.

Don't worry, a solution has been found to end the slaughter.

Common, Lil Herb, King Louie and other Chicago rappers have united to promote the "Music vs. Gun Violence" campaign, asking their city to "Put the Guns Down" in an interactive music video.

More VRI right? This is a national disgrace, the blood is at the feet of elected, judges letting felons roam freely, the mayor not hiring police, the president not speaking out strongly against this animalistic behavior! All the churches in BLM (Black lies matter) areas, but the bloodshed continues! Are the churches only used as shields agiant paying taxes? I live in the Clearing area maybe we should take a lesson from the takers, lets declare our homes "churches" get a degree online and wala pay no taxes thats how it works correct? As a bonus you get police officers stumbling all over themselves expert police protection, while the taxpaying areas go wanting!

Was pulling out of my garage today, say 2 women dressed wearing "streets and san" vests, walking down the alley counting garbage cans, talked to them was told "we are inventorying the cans," Inventorying? Hmm wonder why are we going to be charged per can? Why also are our real estate taxes going up but yet rahm is making exceptions for homes valued lower (Whats the bet in minority non-taxpaying areas?)! Fair across the board rahm you raise our taxes, you raise everyone's, hey alderman Zalewski, Quinn, and Burke the 23rd ward trio speak up for your constituents!

I saw multiple streets and San workers this morning counting cans also. This was at 0715am. Multiple vans parked all through the 23 ward. Garfieldridge and clearing be prepared for a big ass fucking. What say you Zalewski and Burk. Don't for get, Burk likes giving millions of taxpayer dollars away to shit heads that file suits.

The true indicator for how dangerous Chicago is should be number of persons shot, not how many are killed. That number of killed is fickle, it can rise or fall depending on a whole range of factors like shooter aim, victim luck, ems response time and speed of getting the wounded to a trauma center.

Close to 2,500 persons shot in one U.S. city in one year is disgraceful, absurd, almost laughable. That number would be laughable if all the shot persons were shitbirds but unfortunately there are some innocent people caught up in this carnage, so I can't really laugh.

In any event, the number of persons shot is the more important and relevant number. Homicides, they can always cover up a few as needed.

anonymous said - "This City is not a safe place to live or visit."

Come on now - we all know what neighborhoods are safe and which ones aren't - its not like these 400 homicides are happening north of Belmont or in the Loop - but its considered "racist" to point out the demographic facts - the violent crime in this city (and everywhere else) will persist until its causes can be honestly assessed. Which, given the self-imposed constraints of the PC liberal media, might be literally impossible (just like the party members behind PC "newspeak" wanted) - because a marxist democrat knows that what he does, divorcing consequences from actions in every way/shape/form, results in destruction of a society - it begins to make sense only once you do the homework on Marxism and realize that this destruction is the desired outcome of the marxist democrat. Read the stuff the President read when he was in college forming his belief system. Study who the first "community organizer" was and what he did and believed and wrote about in his book Rules for Radicals and why a young B.O. chose as his first "job" to follow that man's lead and be a "community organizer" if you want to know what the Marxist democrats are all about. Is there any denying that the crime is the highest in any city or section of city "organized" in its values by Marxist democrats for any length of time? wake up already... google it

Yes, every year there are homicides that look like suicides and are classified as suicides to lighten the load on the detective unit.

In any other universe, company, business the ceo would of been terminated long ago! gary should of been thrown out, the "gold star" club would of been fired or demoted at the least, but people everyday being shot, killed, murdered, national news, and nothing changes! Presidents hometown where is the flood of extra cash to hire police, to put more thugs in federal prisons, to keep these animals caged where they belong?

Not just a disgrace, national embarrassment, as the officials have multiple police bodyguards, drive in tank like vehicles, while mayhem ensues unabated! No wonder so many are tired of career politicians and want totally new "real men" "real woman" in power change is coming soon from the top down, make sure everyone votes it's extremely important!!

No offense, but don't think I ever want to visit Chicago. Years ago I did, but after 5 years in Tennessee in a city where there was virtually no crime, I don't think I could handle even a visit to the Windy City. I moved back to PA after my mom passed away & I'm way too close to Philly. Upper Darby isn't what it used to be. I'm already looking toward Amish country or moving back to South Jersey where I grew up.

I feel for you men & women in the City of Chicago. Please, please, please be safe out there.

400? So what? Child's play.
1991, there were 928. In '92, 943. In '93, 855. '94, 931. '95, 828.
Of course, the media never gave us any credit for knocking these numbers down to the 500 range.
