Connected Business Downgrades Crime

  • Four people smashed the front door of Union Group of Illinois, 6428 N. Milwaukee Ave., in an apparent attempt to break into the city's newest cannabis dispensary Saturday morning, police said.

Surveillance footage showed the group breaking the glass door before running away, a police source told DNAinfo. The dispensary's staff called to report a break-in at 11:19 a.m. Saturday.

But Dmitrey Stebley, the dispensary's chief operator, called the incident "an act of vandalism" by a group of young men who appeared to be intoxicated just after 4 a.m. Saturday.

"This was not an attempt to break in," Stebley said. "Only the outer glass was broken."
Riiiight. Because your security measures worked, it's "vandalism" and not something more sinister. What a load of crap. The local aldercreature got it correct though:
  • Still, Ald. Anthony Napolitano (41st) saw the damage as a bitter I-told-you-so moment, after trying to prevent the shop from opening in his ward because of security concerns.

Napolitano's office conducted an automated telephone poll of his constituents, finding that 72 percent didn't want the dispensary at Devon Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue, he said.

"This is exactly what residents expected to happen," Napolitano said. "It's exactly what the neighborhood never wanted to deal with in the first place. And it could be just the beginning."
Anyone know why an aldercreature and the citizens he represents can't regulate and/or shut down what they see as a problem business?

So if you do a little detective work like running the Union Group of Illinois on the SOS cyber drive website you come up with a cross reference to Union Group which is Taft Service Solutions 111 E Wacker Suite 2800. Then go to the Illinois Board of Elections website and run the address 111 E Wacker. What you will come up with for Suite 2800 is all kinds of Attorneys and Citizens to elect this democrat and that democrat et al. Suite 2800 is a very busy suite. Hello Feds this just took 10 minutes.

It's legal here for medicinal purposes now. And these dispensaries have to open SOMEWHERE.
Napolitano will just have to get over it. How many other businesses in his ward are burglarized?

That's a corporation service address. Every corporation has to have one for legal purposes. The addresses usually have lawyers who accept for numerous businesses.

This is a direct slap in the face to Napolitano from Rahm. 9 digit midget purposely put it there to spite Napolitano for not voting his way.

This business is clouted up. The company that handled the zoing matters for permits was a former coppers Dad Terrence O'Brien. His kid was on job and on disability. The old man has his hands in everything.

This was forced on the 41st ward by Rham as payback after alderman Napolitano voted against the last city budget.

It's the only storefront that was ever damaged in 9 years along Milwaukee Ave from to Lawrence to Devon.

Democrats are the dumbest people on this earth. My password is "password". And just think the security of our country has been in their hands the past 8 years. No doubt there will be some very interesting treasonous facts coming out in the next 4 years.

Burglary was one of the many reasons residents voiced their objections to this dispensary. Well it's been how long since it opened?

Zoning advisory board voted down development at Avondale and Oliphant anyone want to bet that this project still goes forward as the community does not know what is best for their community. The plans submitted will require zoning changes and when there are zoning changes there has to be units designated for low income residents, it's Chicago sanctuary city law. If anyone see's any real estate transactions for these parcels please make them public and notify the alderman.

Naps is the best friend the CPD/CFD have. No reason to fuck with him. The majority of the other ones are no good, except for Nick Sposato, a good guy. Rahm overruled Naps on that place, he fought it like crazy.
