Klepto Faces Firing
- Cherie Hendricks, a veteran Chicago Police Department detective, was arrested at a Louisiana Walmart on Christmas Eve for stealing $113.50 worth of reading glasses and coffee mugs.
CBS Chicago reports that she was placed into a court-ordered diversion program, typically reserved for first-time offenders.
This wasn't Hendricks' first incident.
Yeah, no shit. Even Obama's Department of Justice noticed this one, and that's saying something as they didn't notice hundreds of guns walking across the border, and out-of-control IRS director and an illegal server in Hillary's basement:

Rahm preaches "reform," but doesn't really mean it. He says words like "accountability," but it's all bullshit. As slow as this investigation is going, you'd think she had the answers to the Lieutenants Test.

Question. Do we have the ability to get a class action suit for the money paid to take promotional tests, when the fix is in and we are basically paying to take a test that is rigged. I feel like I paid for the cost of making a test which my participation was a joke and a slap in the face.

This detective has been a thorn in the side of this department since she was hired, apparently her good looks and her flirting has worked on certain bosses and numerous encounters with supervisors. She had a hit and run accident back in 2009 where she intentionally rammed a friends car and left the scene then never contacted her insurance company and when IAD got the case the copper handling the case tried to intimidate the victim, threatening to have the victims relative who was the police fired for not stopping Cherie from driving away. Then her 2013 theft arrest was thrown out because the store security was intimidated not to appear in court. She is a classic head case who will hurt somebody bad someday. Just ask her former boyfriend Sam. This girl is a total nutjob.

She had been nailed for shoplifting at Whole Foods a couple of years ago by their security. At the time she was part of an Elite Unit, and she drove to commit the crime/shoplifting in a brand new Department Issued unmarked vehicle! (something to think about when you push that marked squad with 100,000 plus miles.) And they still would not fire her! How did she pass the Psych Test and get into a Specialized Unit if she is this off the wall? Could her good looks have been a factor? This is about time that someone has outed her. She has wronged so many people over the years and should never have had the opportunity to be on the job. She should have been fired from the first offense. PO's are supposed to uphold the law not break it and get away with it. Whoever her clout is should be terminated also for protecting her and saving her ass at every turn. We want to throw the book at anyone for a minor offense but she gets away with the city paying for her schooling and letting her continue to make 90K+ a year because she thinks she can get away with it. She is the biggest piece of $hit ans should rot with the rest of the low lives in this city.

Answer: (Does the City still charge for taking Promotional exams?)
- NO. If you are referring to private run study groups, they likely didn't alter the exam or responsible for hiring/promoting.
But who knows if corrupt exempt members provided exclusive test booklets to certain candidates, prove it. HRD already shredded them, there's no retention requirement, if there is then consider them lost.
- YES. If you can provide proof the exam results were compromised.
Such is the case of cheating, corrupt members provided answers to legitamate questions, not necessarily actual "exam" rigging, it was just tampering with the end results. This will eventually come to lawsuit or settled first.
Take this advice: Stay away from the study groups. A waste of money - you know that now.
Best to study for exams on a continual basis, not 1 or 2 months before an exam, but throughout the year(s). Read new orders as they come out. Know what's important key points like "Must, Always" and any current politically charged orders like the Use of Force bs.
