"Wring" his Neck

Imagine if Rauner had said this about a female black aldercreature:
  • The head of the Chicago City Council Budget Committee on Tuesday sought to point the blame at Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner when it comes to finding a way to avoid a looming financial meltdown at Chicago Public Schools, saying in the often-blunt language she's known for that "somebody needs to take Rauner by his neck and wring it."
The media and their political masters would have been up in arms with "lynching" comparisons.

Rauner is completely correct in blaming CPS for its own financial mismanagement. We've outlined step-by-step the crooked contracting that goes on citywide. We've posted e-mails from School Officers who have seen pallets of textbooks and equipment collecting dust and being thrown away at year's end completely unused.

This is what happens in an inefficient bureaucracy with a "spend it by the end of the year or lose it" philosophy. If they don't spend the money on frivolities, it gets taken out of their budget, but somehow, it never seems to go back to the taxpayers who were forced to contribute the money in the first place.

It's all about the children, won't you give more in the way of taxes and fees. If the children don't get more funding they will end up not going to college, be forced to pitch drugs, and up in prison. Please, for $5 a day you could save the life of a child.

We have this asshole Arena bringing a horde of subsidized housing and section 8 to Jefferson Park. The neighbors that are upset by this progressive alderman still don't get it. They're talking about backing either Pritzker or Kennedy, who are cut from the same progressive cloth.

If you vote for these progressives, you're part of the problem.

CPS system is not perfect, and only human. They try hard. Besides the taxpayers never pay enough taxes. If they did the schools would be in better shape. Don't forget all the teachers and their leadership have college degrees, and in many cases advanced graduate degrees. They are some really smart people.

CPS is FUBAR to be certain. But they don't have an exclusive on year end purchasing idiocy - take a look at some of our State Universities (*cough*WIU*cough*) and what they pull.

End of year - $10,000 remains in some budget... If they don't spend it, they don't get it next year and they might need it. So they went out and bought $10,000 worth of pencils custom printed with University name on them.

No place to store them, so they send them to "Central Stores" in Springfield. Which is another State Dept that warehouses and manages all this crap. At some point CS calls and says "do you need this?", university says "Nope, that project's ended... ", and CS auctions it off. If it doesn't sell, they PAY to dispose of it.

Complete cluster.... Can't wait to get the hell out of this State

We've asked for this in the past, as well as an update on the previous
years' budgets that don't seem to add up at the end of the year. it's
virtually impossible to get anything from CPS through the committee
which the mayor keeps his fist on.
It is pretty clear there is fraud but the council cannot compel the
CPS board or staff to testify nor hold them in contempt like they can
in Congress.
The only way right now is to get the CPS IG to be on top of every bad
deal, but they've also been hampered by lack of staff and
misdirection by CPS. it's going to take full removal of the board to
get major changes needed, and by then it will be harder to get out of
the hole they put CPS into. But we have been making the IG aware of
everything we can.

I cannot disclose the alderman's name but he was the only one who responded to my emails on the CPS contract situation.

Cps and Cpd are full of frivolous spending. The problem is nobody is "forced" to contribute. We all pay taxes, the cps has mismanaged is money and politicians have refused to fund pensions for 20 years. The narrative that you are "forced to contribute" is bullshit. You don't like paying tuition...? Two things yo think about, take a vested interest in your neighborhood school and make it the place you want it, and if the precious devos Rauner vouchers come in, how long before shit starts rolling into private schools? Private schools will think twice about expelling trouble makers because that would be too much money to turn down, essentially rendering the option of private school the same as a public school.

troll: The CPS is simply a racketeer, influenced, corrupt organization that should be dismantled by the US Attorney. Public education is a money laundering operation for the National Democratic Party through various labor unions. The people that propel it and financially loot the taxpayer dollars should be in the docket in my view. I want to be on the jury that convicts each defendant. Frankly, the CPS I believe promotes child abuse by incompetent teachers and most importantly, the majority of its students leave the CPS utterly unprepared for productive life. Too many of them as we read here and in the media end up dead on the streets of Chicago or incarcerated in IDOC. It is a pathetic operation and Claypool, the democratic gadfly mover and shaker in the party is its current incompetent boss.

For anyone to blame Rauner who came on the scene a couple of years ago is simply a big lie. I heard her comments on the radio and it speaks volumes as to the idiot voters in her ward who would vote for a complete idiot to represent them. It eludes me why any Republican would want anything to do with government at any level in this state other than self promotion. Keep promoting Chicago values alderwoman.

And CPS loves to spread the incompetence and mismanagement. Chief of staff of CPD? Former protege of soon to be jailed BBB, Bobby B. The new CPD director of HR, a Bobby B handpicked career nobody from CPS who is beginning to realize that he, like the goof from MLAS, are in way over their heads. It appears this "merit" nonsense is on the civilian side too.

What with "common core" libtard/leftist non-education, such as no cursive writing or math beyond simple arithmetic being taught, and kids being taught reading by looking at the whole word like it's a Chinese ideogram instead of phonics and sounding out the letters in a word, maybe they should shitcan all the books currently used. All they are doing now is training useful idiots and socialist drones. God, I hate leftist commie pinko ass holes!

Pallets of textbooks in a school? There aren't any textbooks in my Northwest side school. The teachers are forced to commit copyright infringement everyday when they are told to make copies from the one or two texts that exist and then pass them out to students. The IG ought to look into this and maybe the textbook publishers should too. It's got me wondering where my CPS tax dollars are going. Just sayin'.

You have got to be fucking kidding me! I certainly hope you forgot to indicate your sarcasm. Any college degrees issued in the last 30 years should be canceled and the colleges who issued them sued into non existence. And the professors imprisoned to a life of forced buggery!

If you want effective government which is more responsive to the needs of the taxpayer, you will never find it in Illinois. Move to a red state and once you get there, never vote for a progressive or anyone that has a D after their name.

Spend it or lose it. This is not just a CPS problem, I've seen it first hand in a number of government agencies and departments. It's a problem with all over the U.S. but for some reason, the money can never be banked in case of some emergency in the future.
Some places are worse than others and I've no doubt the CPS system is bad, but I also think there's not a single democrat politician in Chicago that will do what's necessary to fix the problem.
Finding someone to blame is not going to "fix" the problem. But liberals are always good at finding someone else to blame for any problem. Maybe it's time for some new leadership?

One should take offense to wringing one's neck. This suggests lynchings and resurrecting slavery. This is offensive on so many levels. But this was made by a progressive, a democrat, a female of color and a duly elected representative of all the people and folk too.

Time to bring in FBI director James Comey to determine intent. He has expirience with the illegal server network setup by the Clinton Crime Syndicate. Lots of CLASSIFIED materials unsecured on this privavate computer network. But after conferring with the inJustice Department's Loretta Lynch, Comey determined the illegal, unauthorized server network was established without " criminal intent". (The only lynching by Loretta Lynch was directed at non federalized law enforcement)

Lets say a conservative male of non color made a wringing the neck type statement. The media would reference racism, demand a public apology, humiliate the other than progressive, demand investigations and demand an the conservative be replaced with a mainstream progressive. Comey would find intent on this guy becacause it fits the prevailing themes advanced by in lock step media. Comey is a homie when goes along with the entrenched establishments goals and objectives.

Now for the horrible news. Those numbers are from 2010. The numbers aren't better now, and oddly enough...they need more money. LOL!

Was down in Springfield recently visiting family went to a nice outdoor restaurant sat down the Governor walks in, sits down orders a beer and then walked around talking to people refreshing to see a man like that relax with normal people, as rahm races around catering to the elite and pandering to the thugs and illegals. The governor even came to an honor flight at midway riding his Harley he may have cash from investments but he honored the soldiers!

Oh yeah, this is the City Council that's quick to persecute any "hands on pro-active" police officer trying to arrest a community assailant.
Typical violence prone democrat whose only solution is to demand money or use force to get it.

As they always take the side of a pandering Rahm when he caves to her demands, no condemnation will be sought from this unhinged militant alderman.

Low attention span Council forgets that crooked thief Byrd Bennett after they overwhelmingly accepted her as CPS CEO and now (CTU) has no confidence in Rahm's (3 pension qualified) Daley-hack(3 pension qualified) Claypool (5 pension qualified) to wants budget cuts, expect the Council to follow that chant...until they get some more of that unaccountable spending money.

Nutty Chicago alderstooges, everyone is trying to be the next Maxine Waters (D-CA).

A star and two bars in my last life. Opened a small business and marketing an invention, I receive many e-mails all day every day. When reading these e-mails it would appear that the majority of people can't spell or formulate a sentence. I have a high school education and am not the grammar Police but when did you become u ? When did a part become ah part? Had a guy inquire if I would tread (trade)services. The younger the customer the harder it is to understand and read the memo. Just when I thought it couldn't get better I find out that many of these rocket scientists have college degrees.I am of the opinion that we have been purposely dumbed down for the last few decades by not only CPS but by our fine Universities. My sons friends who sell freight logistics and learned HVAC etc.after high school are doing well, the ones that went to college until they were twenty five are living in the basement asking what went wrong, I feel sorry for them as the dumb sh*t degrees and student loans are a con game they were too young to understand. The modern school system is there to spend tax money and produce useful idiots... and business is good !

So is it 90% of the CPS money debacle tied just to their Pension?
And the other 10% for operations, wasteful construction, retrofits and air conditioning?
What would squirting out another 7% towards the pension mean for a parti time jobbers getting a full time wage?

besides Bill Gates Foundation, Chancé the Wrapper donations, various Strong Armed Corporates are expected to provide for Rahm's Kids so CPS can continue to piss away GovMint grants and overbuy everything that usually gets stolt or lost'ed.

No one wants to do the math. CPS has the money that is needed. The contracts are croooked as fuck. But since the revruns and the Mt Greenwood wives get their taste of the minority contracts, no one cares. 260 Million for Aramak and that disgusting food. 78 million for Sentinel Technologies, a company based in the burbs when in the city alone, many skilled IT people are out of work. 50 million for ATT. 80 million for janitor services, the list goes on. And this is just 2017. No one will ask for a forensic audit. Not a single politician. Fuck them then. I have resolved myself to take care of my family and do whatever it takes legally to make it happen.
