#29

  • The No. 29 star of Cmdr. Paul Bauer, which he received when he attained the rank of captain, was placed by his wife, Erin, and teenage daughter, Grace, in a glass cabinet alongside those of some 500 other Chicago police officers who died while serving the city.

Bauer was the highest-ranking Chicago cop to be killed in the line of duty in decades when he was fatally shot outside the Thompson Center in the Loop on the day before Valentine’s Day. The gold star Bauer was given when he became commander of the Near North patrol district was presented to his family.
RIP Sir.

Rest In Peace Commander Bauer. Thank You for your years of service and dedication to the people of Chicago.

Now, isn't it about time that we bring back the Death Penalty for the Murder of a Police Officer -- no Life in Prison bullshit, Execution upon conviction, period. This war on police has to end so if the Death Penalty makes one mouth-breathing savage think twice before pointing a gun at police it'll be worth it. It'll save the shitheads from getting shot by police too, so there's that.

Enough is enough.

Remember to vote in November
The violent criminal that murdered Paul should have been behind bars for a few more years .
Vote out the democrats that say too many people if color are in jail .
Paul’s death was preventable caused by broken criminal justice system.
That parole was armed , yet democrats want your guns , they want you helpless.?
Chicago was one of the last cities to allow CCW , cook county taxes ammo ,guns for law abiding citizens , release people carrying guns on IBond , vote for law and order
Channel 7 describes two f/b armed robbery offenders as
Two women sprayed the senior citizen with pepper spray before robbing him .
It happened south loop , high rent district .
Will you be the next victim

WE WILL NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE

My prayers and deepest sympathy to the Bauer family. No officer’s family should have to endure what you’ve been through.

That being said what truly sickens me how quickly the City, CPD and media forget about this tradegedy. Yet the have no problem spending hours and hours of time on the JVD trial. The world is truly upside down. Please remember this every time you respond to a call and act accordingly.

Every year, when you complain about loosing sleep, face shitty weather or long lines for parking, make excuses about family/kids issues remember that his family is standing at attention, under that canopy feeling the honor and pride we all felt at one point on this job. They live their lost memories in all of us, every second of every day. Everytime they see a squad car, a beat cop or simply hear about us on tv. No matter what color, ethnicity, belief or creed, we all bleed blue. Remember that. Take care of each other during this mess. Be safe.

Always remember how expendable this city and this department thinks we are. They prove it day after day, month after month, year after year. Remember how easily they shell out millions in tax payer $$ to the families of dead ghetto thugs. Then remember how many years we sit in arbitration with no contract for years just to get 50$ more per paycheck. Remember how easily the city pays for bs ID cards and legal assistance for illegal residents. Then think about all the dilapidated stations and training facilities that are infested with mold, pests, broken plumbing, leaking roofs, with equipment that's outdated or broken. Remember that all of this expensive emergency planning and overtime are over the death of a bad seed that was cast away by another bad seed of a mother who walked off with millions in hush money for a kid she never even supported. How much money did the city award Cmdr. Bauer's family? How much overtime and riot control was there when the good commander was murdered? Where were the protests? Where was the outrage? All you heard was fucking crickets. How much are we really worth to these bastards? ZERO!
