Another $100 to the Chaplains

  • The decision to fire four Chicago police officers for the cover-up of the fatal Laquan McDonald police shooting in 2014 means no one above sergeant will be disciplined or prosecuted for a conspiracy that arguably reached into the highest ranks of the department.

[...] Ferguson’s office ended up recommending the firing of 11 officers in all, but the two highest-ranking — Deputy Chief David McNaughton and Chief of Detectives Eugene Roy — both quietly retired before Superintendent Eddie Johnson acted on Ferguson’s recommendations.
No mention of Special Ed being the Chief of Patrol on scene that night though. The word from Groot's office must be that only herself (and Prickwrinkle) are allowed to put the boots to the Accidental Superintendent - not lowly reporters.

As usual the lowly patrol officers had their heads put on the chopping block. You can take a chance and try to sue to get back on. FOP will not pay for the attorney which will cost north of 20,000 dollars. Several years later you may win and get back on with back pay or lose. It's a big gamble. Good luck to all of you whatever you decide to do.

The bosses seen what we all saw that night a good shooting and they all signed off on it. Little did any of them suspect Rahm was going to manipulate McDonald into the next Eric Gardener or Rodney King. Reporter seeks video released AFTER Rahm wins. The whole time he keeps says he won’t seek a casino till after police pension is addressed. He could have paid our pension from casino windfall but refused. The city manipulated the whole ordeal. Judge ordered the release of all the videos and the city didn’t release them in chronological order but the only one needed for their narrative to undermine the department and manufacture the need for a consent decree to destroy the need to negotiate with police union. No one ever saw the video of McDonald attempting to cut an officer throat and score the glass on the squad. No, 24x7 the media tarred and feathered VanDyke. The only problem was Thrump won and AG no longer cared to play so they changed gears and sought a State decree which they keep referring to as a Federal decree. As long as Cops refuse to see the conn they have been subject to and keep acting like lemming walking off that economic cliff because you want to play by their rules you will lose!

LOL at the 20K estimate. When it comes to lawyers you definatelying get what you pay for. 20K will get you an ambulance chaser at best. More like 75-100K will buy good defense and give them a fighting chance. But since there are 4 will be a lot more than that. Better start the fund raisers now.

Way north of $20,000 and because times are changing the courts are also changing. Used to be easier and if the city is pissed they will appeal any court decision returning you to the job. Going to the appellate court cost you more cash

Essentially the coverup is still ongoing.
The case is now settled and the records sealed?
I do hope the appeal lawsuits move forward and look forward to help fund them.

JVD was railroaded for the sake of moving the restorative justice agenda.
These fired 4 PO’s cements in the COPA minds the necessity of the Lefts consent decree.

I didn’t see the case reports that the COPA says were exaggerations.
Can’t change what someone under duress sees or perceives and this alone is going to set the bar for a twisted reason for dismissal.

Sgts approve case reports or they don’t. Approved reports are moved up the chain with the same conclusion...or it’s not.
If the PO report was insufficient, lacked elements, etc, then someone else was slacking on the way up.
It too bad now that COPA gets to overrule the case reports based on their opinions and agendas.
Nobody should have been fired for writing a case report to the best of their recollection especially when it’s their account and not the opinions or basis of the part time, not on scene Police Board. They took recommendations from a corrupt civilian COPA.

Retiring doesn’t offer protections...does it?
Jugghaid is only in this game for the Apr 2020 pension bump and of course being Rahm’s hand picked 21st Century Task Force Right Man for the Right Time™️, is being protected. The ILLEGITIMATE COPA is the coverup that Rahm created and appointed, they are ignoring the full disclosure. The Madgroin Consent Decree doesn’t offer protections from or a recall of such biased, ineffective and corrupt COPA nor will there be any digging into their patterns and practices.

Whether it’s IAD, OPS, IPRA and now COPA the pandering politicians just change the names and the leadership with other pandering boogie men to do the dirty work. If COPA is shelved it just will morph into another Anti-Polics monster squad.

Lastly, the resistant militant and highly ignorant biased COPA leader Sid Roberts went on the record of saying she would go head to head with CPD investigators and training versus her team of snoopers. This is an evil entity run by a vile cacodemon.

Stay Fetal or get run over.

Off topic but needed to put this out as it has significant and negative impact for all tax payers in Murder City:

Source: Truth in Accounting (TIA); new Chicago's Financial State of Chicago, date July 19th.

"The level of Chicago’s indebtedness assessed from the CAFR can be difficult to contextualize, which is why TIA calculates this number as a Taxpayer Burden™, or the amount of money each city taxpayer would have to contribute to city hall for the city to be debt free. Chicago’s Taxpayer Burden is a staggering $38,100, which increased by $2,100 from the previous fiscal year largely due to increases in pension liabilities. And because Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Transit Authority are separate entities, their debt is not included in this analysis.

These new findings are notable for several reasons. First, Truth in Accounting’s rigorous methodology cuts through common bookkeeping gimmicks to present data free of political distortions. Second, this report allows the public to gauge financial health accurately and consistently going back several years.

“We found that Chicago’s leaders have failed to address the structural problems weakening its financial system, instead plugging the holes with short-term fixes,” said TIA founder and CEO Sheila Weinberg. “When the bills come due, Chicago politicians are going to face a lose-lose dilemma: reduce services and benefits, or fix the problem on the backs of future taxpayers.”

The Murder Mayor will soon be talking taxes and laying blame on her predecessor, Rahm the hider of the Laquan video. I wonder if Groot will invoke his name. Naw, she's fearful that if she names him, he'll steal her soul and take it back with him to hell.

Keep the tax issue in mind as our contract is discussed in the scheme of things. 2% salary reductions anyone? What about CTU. Pay me now or pay me later, you will pay or I'll reduce city services.

Remember what she said about tax reductions on the south and west sides and tax increases on the north side. Socialist style fairness and equity not for all, but for some.

If you read the TIA web site they provide a list of states with much less tax burdens than sinkhole city. Flee Murder City and leave the rest to Dude, Inc., the occupant in the Mayor's Office and the Community.

Now go out there and fight crime and make the Chief REFORMER feel real good.

THAT MEANS IF YOU WORK WITH ANY ONE OF THEM YOU ARE IN THE TRICKBAG. fair share is not entitled to legal defense, if they file a grievance, and it goes to arbitration, it is a minimum of $10,000 out of pocket to that officer. they pay for their own legal defense out of pocket. wanna risk it to save 600 bucks a year? feel free.

On Thursday , July 18 , Marty Preib and I attended the Chicago Police Board hearing and spoke against the firings of all four police officers involved . Our mission is to have this Board dissolved ! The decision by the police board was not a shock ! This case from its inception was riddled with unfounded accusations and has been led with a false narrative . The FOP will continue to fight for these officers ! I am currently reading the Police Board decision. The four officers combined had seventy years of police work , two department commendations , one hundred and seventy seven honorable mentions , and only one sustained Cr # . This was for a lost radio. On Wednesday , July 24 , I will address the City Council at 9:30 A.M. concerning this decision . If possible we would appreciate anyone who can attend this meeting . As Co-Chair of legal defense we will immediately discuss this and provide the means necessary to address this ! Don’t believe the rumors that are anonymously spread !
Patrick J. Murray , 1st Vice - President

Whatever happened to that filthy pig Levar, who was seen in many a massage parlor in his ward during his aldermanic term.

Vilifying McNaughton he is taking abuse because contrary to what you think he was promoted way over his abilities. He and that clown Ozzie are the perfect example of the merit system being broken. The problem is he drank the department kool aide and then tried to make everyone else drink it that is not what a lead does.

That’s your answer

Jeremy Gorner is a pisspoor reporter and a guileless hack, fed news by a couple of exempts to keep their names out of the paper in a bad way.
Case in point is when is when ex 007th Capt/ex 012th District Commander EK, got the hero treatment by Gorner after getting a graze wound to his thick noggin during a HBT in 007. An incident in which he grossly mismanaged .
if that fake news pushing Tribune and their flunky " police beat" reporter Gorner did their homework, or even read this blog, they would know what kind of moral less, ethically challenged thief he really was.
Instead, they promoted that creep to commander and sent him to 012, where he got forced out after hurling a racial epithet at an officer.
Do your damn job, Tribune. Quit making EK out to be a hero. find out what he's really like.
