Witnesses jumped in after the fact:
A 48-year-old woman fatally stabbed a 7-year-old girl on a South Side street Saturday afternoon, then was knocked unconscious by a bystander and taken into police custody, according to Chicago police and witnesses. Court records show the woman has had an outstanding felony warrant for more than 18 months.
The girl was walking southbound in the 8600 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue shortly before noon when the woman approached her and stabbed her multiple times in the back, police said. Multiple witnesses saw the attack, and one of them knocked the woman unconscious a short distance from where the child was found, according to a witness who spoke with CWBChicago.
Why not finish the job? Not to put too fine a point on it, but that part of town is notorious for non-cooperation with authorities. Why would they start now after a seven-year-old got stabbed....and killed.
We'd actually admire the extra effort.

Found it odd there was no mention of the victims parents. Where were they?
In the photo the PO on the left is forward heavy with all that junk on his vest. One pull on that vest by the bad guy will bring him down to the ground. Alll that weight in front causes back problems.

Perhaps they simply wanted to annoy LEOs or we're practicing for konking innocents on the head in the loop? Maybe hoping for a lighter sentence on whatever charges they're personallybfacing, though, we all know, that's going to happen anyway. Hmmm perplexing.
Cue the white, woke women coming to the offender's defense saying it was post partum from years ago.
Should have been in the county jail but the non safety act kept her on the streets. Go figure
According to CWB Chicago's report on this, she previously got a two year probation for the aggravated battery of a CTA driver.
So that sentence makes a total joke of the regular announcement you hear on the buses & trains that if you attack an employee or passenger of the CTA, you will get a ten year prison sentence.
Make that ten year prison sentence mandatory for any attack on a passenger or employee of the CTA & she never would've been on the street to murder than innocent little girl!
Or even better, make it a mandatory 25 year sentence in prison & must serve the entire 100% of it in prison!
Send the psycho to TN for some lethal injection.

*I asked a guy why men don't seem to have as much stupid shit & drama as women do. He politely explained when men start that sh*t, the possibility that one of them will die because of it, stops it pretty much right then and there.
