Speaking of changes, what is going on with the dispatchers at the OEMC? Has anyone been fired? Someone asked this question in a previous discussion, “does the discharged loan have to be reported as income?” The answer is yes (for the majority of the dispatchers and everyone else who fraudulently obtained the loan or improperly used the loan proceeds). Mr. Tax Man, please set up shop at the Chicago OEMC to get your numbers, you will earn a promotion, rise through the ranks, and make a name for yourself.

She buys pizza and doughnuts, host appreciation parties and then backstabs everyone.

I once got into an argument with him after he told me I had to wait 30 minutes before punching out because the general order said so. I told him he was wrong and no GO require this. He refused to take my slip and I started dialing the court section to have them punch me out over the phone. I told him I was just going to turn my slip in at the unit. Big argument resulted and he swiped at my slip and said “just give me the fucking thing”. I told him I didn’t trust him to turn it in.i walked out with my slip and turned it in without any problem at all. The guy is a total asshole
When she made Detective, probably less than 2 weeks in I had a job with her that was going to run in to OT. It was Valentine’s Day so she somehow wriggled out of the job. Spent almost no time doing detective work but doing “work” for CPMF.

So who would be a good boss? What are the qualifications? What disqualifies a person from being a good boss in this blogs readers eyes? If merit, they suck. If from a unit, they suck. While some might get lucky on a score, or are gifted with a merit spot or have even been a swell inside person their whole career....the majority of the people name's you see on the blog repeated time and time again are mentioned for a reason. To answer your question, there were white shirts past and present, that were promoted by merit and score that have never made the blog. It seems as though the posters blog more about the Pattie Casey study group hacks, the Eric Carter DEI losers, the Lieutenant test cheating scandal hacks and the Phil Cline “good ole boy” hacks.

This is true. While she "worked" the CPMF for Cline her hours were 10:30-Noon. She swop into the Academy, float into the ft office for 10 minutes (to show her face), up to the classroom on the second floor, lock the door and do who knows what for 90 minutes or so. Leave, lock the door and "head to lunch." Never to be seen again for the rest of the day. Mind you this was not every day. Who knows what she did the rest of the time.
She is retiring. She said not till next November. She needs too. Demotion is the only way she will leave. Hope it’s true.

The real answer is merit has messed up the department by promoting sons of supervisors or the commanders secretary (side piece). Promotional test are a joke with a passing score of 38% because they will curve the final score to pass based on a bosses kid score who should not be in command bcus he’s dumb but has received 1, 2, or 3 bites of the merit apple. So it’s clearly a bias system and should have rules & restrictions. Just remember officers when it comes down it’s just a job that pays the bills all you are required to do is answer your calls & back each other up. That’s it. PS.. go get numbers for a Lt or commander and see when you step into shit will they be at your hearing with the police board. They will act like you are Christ and deny they ever knew you or asked you for activity. 🙏
