How About Some Cameras?
If any other profession was facing accusations far less sinister than some of these, people would be demanding accountability and video surveillance so that they could judge the actions of these so-called public servants:
A former Chicago Public Schools contract employee accused of sending a series of sexual messages to a 13-year-old student has been ordered detained after a Cook County judge said his actions showed a “lack of self-control” and a risk to children.
Prosecutors said 41-year-old Mycale Ford worked as a special education classroom assistant at the Gresham School Of Excellence, 8524 South Green Street, through a CPS contractor. He is now charged with one count of grooming.
It's far past time for CPS to have cameras installed in all classrooms and teachers to be required to wear body cameras when interacting with students. The public deserves to know exactly how their tax dollars are being spent and what their children are being taught....and by whom.

See not guilty , my handpicked trio of nut huggers cleared me . It’s been a wild ride . Who would have thought when I was squatting in my foreclosed condo rent free from COVID that a white trash hillbilly like me would get a credit card and a 80000 car that you suckers bought . I really wish I knew what it was like to work 12 hour days but I spent a lot of my career on the medical . I also want to thank my board for approving my legal fees. Where else can I be accused from stealing from my members and have my fees paid by the same members .
CPS is untouchable with their Clown installed as the Nitwit Mayor. No consequences for the White Sox shooting or the teacher with the Charlie Kirk hatred. Even their leader lives in Indiana.
How is it that they don't? Suburban public schools have had camera in the classrooms since the 90s.
In addition to wearing body cams, the parents of any student in the class should be given access to view live feed and also research the video to determine the extent of indoctrination.

Public school personnel, federal judges, and FBI agents should all be wearing cameras.

I don't understand, I thought the Democrats say that people who break the law should not face any consequences. It that only for illegal immigrants? If illegal immigrants have that right, why shouldn't everybody have it, including sicko perverts at CPS?
Literally our most precious resources and they’re not protected by anything. They wanted CPD out of schools. Have zero plan in case of an active shooter. And they allow foxes in the henhouse with minimal consequences. The technology is there. Time for public trust in CPS

Under the direction of the President, the General Services Administration may conduct a Forensic Audit of any agency receiving federal funding. The City of Chicago, the Chicago Board of Education, the Illinois Tollway Authority included.
Blame the parents for not demanding this simple protection for their children. But again we are talking about parents who send their kids to CPS. Enough said !

Isn't it ironic and convenient for the only ones who are required to wear body cameras...... are cops?! Not a crap load of child molesting CPS employees, in addition to lying scum bag crook politicians, or daycare employees. But remember Cops will ALWAYS be the fall guys with no rights, and no one else in the world would want to carry a damn camera on their body just to get a paycheck. I blame the jag-offs who worked part time for Taser Companies like AXON--but being on the CPD payroll at the same time. Conflict of interest, anyone!? All the BS I heard from the bosses and media how BWCs were going to save us, makes me wanna vomit every time they spoused that crap over and over for 10+ years. BWCs have been invented and pushed on all departments to profit these private sectors BIG $$$$$ (plain and simple) and maybe 1% of the time they have helped us. 99% it works against us (and the true victims in society). I'll take my chances, and break the damn thing with a hammer and then throw it in a sewer. Hey, a man can dream, right......? :) For all those civilians, bosses, and media who say they are going to help out with accountability and transparency, can F------K themselves.
And how their little angels behave in class. Wife is a teacher at a Catholic high school. Parents would be shocked at how their kids act in class and threaten the teachers.

I dont have any kids in CPS, but I pay for these schools and teachers. Every classroom should be on camera with audio. Maybe just the teachers desk / chalkboard. I should get to see the product for which I pay.
Voucher system and union free charter schools would be better, then the teachers could be fired.
Get that bulletproof Congress, Senate and Judiciary and then tout this.
