• A Rogers Park man has been charged with murder and aggravated arson in connection with a fire that killed Chicago Fire Department Firefighter and EMT Michael Altman, prosecutors announced. He is the fourth person charged this year with killing or attempting to kill someone in Chicago while on felony pretrial release.

  Sheaves Slate, 27, is expected to appear for a detention hearing at the Cook County courthouse at 26th and California on Saturday afternoon, where additional details about the allegations against him are expected to be released.

Apologies for bringing this up, but this really should be used as a giant f#$%ing club to beat any and every politician who voted for the SAFE-T Act. 

These creatures shouldn't be walking the streets among the decent and law-abiding citizens, sowing mayhem and murder wherever they go. They need to be in cages or - if on bond - be forced to live with the politicians who voted for this crap bill....and the fat tub of shit that signed it.
