Another Panic Attack Inbound
The entertainment value alone would be a wonder to behold:
President Donald Trump Friday suggested that federal troops could be deployed to Chicago amid his efforts to crack down on crime, repeating a threat that both Gov. JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson have said would be illegal.
During a news conference Friday in the Oval Office, Trump said Chicago could be next to receive federal intervention, similar to Washington, D.C., where nearly 2,000 National Guard troops have been deployed to address what his administration has described as a surge in violent crime, even though D.C. officials say crime is falling in their city.
“Chicago is a mess, you have an incompetent mayor, grossly incompetent, and we will straighten that one out next,” Trump said referring to Johnson. “That will be our next one after this, and it won’t even be tough.”
In a statement Friday afternoon, Johnson said deploying federal troops to Chicago would be against the law and “undermine” the city’s progress in reducing crime.
"Progress" means under-reporting and misclassifying crime numbers. Yes, we're aware that shooting and homicide victims are down from recent highs. But property crimes and such are still out of control, and if you talk to citizens on the street, the perception is that crime and disorder are higher than what is considered "normal."
But this isn't the purpose of the Administration's statements and quite frankly, we're amazed the dumbocrats keep falling for it:
- this is an 80-20 issue - people want less crime, so they support efforts to stop crime, even if those efforts are nothing more than statements that have no chance of actually occurring;
- Trump is on record supporting Law Enforcement efforts, he can actually do it in Washington DC by Law, the efforts are showing positive results, he gets good publicity;
- democrats in blue state shitholes make statements that are interpreted to the effect that they are supporting criminals over citizens who want less crime
And that's a bad look....which Conehead and Fata$$ are embracing.

The head of the DC police union, Detective Gregg Pemberton gave an interview on Fox News commenting on what Trump was doing which was positive.
He blasted the DC City Council for their misguided agenda. He told of how the command staff cook the books to reduce crime (just like Chicago which has been doing that for years). BLM Brandon, Pritzker and the rest of the Dems wants close to a billion for crime prevention which will never go to enforcing laws or public safety. It will disappear into the vast abyss just like all the other money. Now you know why these Dems don't want the Trump Administration to come here and expose their scams.
My concern is this. Can you file an anonymous complaint on federal troops and federal police to COPA or the Civilian Office of Police Accountability?
After all, isn't COPA an unelected, unaccountable ad hoc civilian citizen organization which dirties up local police reputations real good and gets them police on the path to termination? The threat of COPA complaints may impede the best intentions and criminal statute enforcement by those federal officers who want to make Chicago Safe Again! Chicago Officers fear the wrath of lawful police enforcement actions by a second guessing rogue organization such as COPA. So should Federal Law Enforcement professionals.
COPA will act as a consent monitor oversight authority not letting National Guard Heroes off the hook for their service protecting a corrupt city. COPA will seek to Court Marshall guardsmen and guardswomen for anonymous allegations of Geneva Convention violations. The blue helmet U.N. shall be sent in as ultimate peacekeeping authority and to enforce international human rights law and uphold international immigration rights in the city on COPA's behalf. COPA may go so far as initiating impeachment proceedings against a sitting president on behalf of their democrat party puppeteers pulling the strings. COPA is universal and truly has no limitations.
I hope so. Upper management in CPD is a cluster funk (sic).

The President has some legal powers in DC that he does not have throughout the USA. For him to use National Guard troops to suppress crime in Chicago, I believe he would have to invoke the Insurrection Act. Every officer involved shooting I've been on the officer wasn't in any emotional shape to jump in a car and drive. That was after shooting a shit head! The "crime is down" is the biggest fallacy in history and in liberal police departments to make it sound like crime has decreased. Being a cop for more than 25 years, I have personally observed numbers are down because many victims and witnesses don't even bother reporting (or even bother calling 9-1-1) the majority of crimes because they know it won't make a difference. Criminals set free, no consequences, offender return back to the victim's residence or business for retaliation, slow police response due to no man-power, or sometime no response whatsoever because some Sgt'a simply code the job without responding when dispatchers ask. Stats lie, haven't any independent media figured this out?! Why call the cops, wait around, for nothing to be done, or report refused because victims know the Cook County court system is a joke. Or call 3-1-1 to document crime, yet sit on hold for 30 minutes, so victim just hangs up. Yet, on paper "crime is down." DUH-- NOT REALLY.
