A person of interest was taken into custody after five people were wounded in a shooting early Monday in the Oakland neighborhood on the South Side.
Officers responding to a call of a large disturbance heard gunfire nearby and found the five victims around 1:05 a.m. in the 3600 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, according to Chicago police.
[...] Four guns were found at the shooting scene and a “person of interest” was taken into custody, police said.
Up to 9 dead and 47 wounded as of Monday evening....maybe more by the time this gets published.

The other day Pritzker gave his fairy tale on how he is going to protect his citizens against Trump. Standing behind him were the usual Marxist Democrats. A man called a radio station and said Tammy Duckworth gave some cutting comments about Trump never being the military at this event. But she never mentioned Prtzker, Durbin & Johnson who were standing right this next to her.!!!!
I would like to see a joint press conference between the feds and the City. I would to see Tom Homan standing right behind Pritzker and Johnson. They both should bring extra underwear if that day occurs.
