SAFE-T Act Works Again

And by "works" we mean "fails":

  • Two men who who teamed up to mug a passenger aboard a Red Line train were both wearing ankle monitors for pending cases, officials say, and one of them successfully beat a robbery charge just hours before the attack.

Prosecutors said Shannon Stephens, 23, and Jamari Gray, 21, confronted a 41-year-old man while riding a southbound Red Line train near 47th Street early on September 12. During the holdup, Stephens allegedly cut the victim’s left wrist and palm while Gray struck him in the face. The men allegedly pulled out a chunk of the victim’s beard and got away with his bookbag.

Stephens and Gray ran off after the attack, but police detained Stephens nearby and arrested Gray when he returned to the train platform carrying the victim’s bookbag — and wearing an ankle monitor, a CPD report said.

Judge James Murphy III ordered both men detained on charges of robbery and aggravated battery, citing their ankle monitors as a point of concern. Stephens’ arrest came barely 12 hours after prosecutors dropped a separate robbery charge filed against him earlier that month.

Maybe if they packed the ankle monitors with a couple ounces of plastic explosives that could be remotely detonated.

If they returned to a life of crime after that, even we could probably catch them.

Your suggestion reminds me of an Old movie called “Dead Lock”. Basicly jail inmates wore collars they could not remove. If they tried to escape the prison the collar would explode and take thier head off. But even better was that all the collars were connected electronicly to another inmates collar so not only would the escapee lose thier head another inmate still in prison would also have thier head blown off when the collars were seperated to far.

I say make those ankle monitors weight about 25lbs each and etched with "criminal" on the side of it. And people should be allowed to throw rotten fruit and veggies at anyone wearing one. Or, we should do what the Democrats say and hold anyone accountable for breaking the law.

When I was a child I was forced to go to school..it reminded me of when my people were slaves. When I put a gun to someones head and took his property..I was caught and put in handcuffs and it reminded me of my people being slaves. I was sent to a prison and put in a jail cell..I also felt the pain of my people being kept as slaves. When I was released I got another gun, while committing another robbery I got shot and then it occurred to me..MY PEOPLE WERE NEVER SLAVES.

You would think the ILL attorney general, the City of Chicago inspector general, a bi-partisan aldermanic commission or the Crook County Public Integrity Unit would conduct a comprehensive review of the judicial process failures creating unsafe communities and crime infested zip codes. Or Authoritarian Ruler Pritzker or twinkle toes Mike Quigley could protect Americans as vigorously as lawbreaking illegal aliens with tough talk incendiary rhetoric drama viscously attacking the accomplished President Honorable Donald J. Trump for enforcing laws and cleaning up the nationwide democrat ghettoes.

One of the numerous accomplishment of Good Ole 47 include cleaning up the democrat ruined stronghold of D.C., Making D.C. Safe Again. Mogadishu like Chicago welcomes the Common Sense solutions by President Trump despite the tired old everyday failed prosecutors, the failed judges, the failed legislators, the violent criminals advanced as victims and the deplorable top Illinois blubber blob who can't keep his fiefdom in check and come up with a Crime Reduction Strategy (CRS) like the highly successful CPD's CRS methodology. The Consent Decree monitors take some credit for writing this visionary 20h Century theoretical analysis.

Foxx’s office advocated that the defendants be placed on EM, the new SA does not advocate for the defendants she and her staff represent the victim, you know the way it was meant to be!!! Always trying to make everything about race! As long as you continue with your victim mentality you will never succeed! Thats ok, continue your insanity, it makes it easier for everyone else to succeed and move forward.

An explosive monitor might hurt other people. But, would that be a bad thing?
Substitute a Polonium injector, like the Russians use, and keep it all quiet.

CWB Chicago is reporting lawmakers have approved the "Clean Slate Act" to seal criminal records without requiring convicted criminal evildoers to go to court. This should assist the illegal aliens keeping their convictions off the books and prying eyes. The teletubbie govnor is expected to sign this into law. This bill does not address the smearing with posted anonymous non substantiated complaints against law enforcement routinely published for no reason but to humiliate actual public servants thwarting criminal endeavors keeping Chicago safe. Their false accusations will follow officers well into the next life and is contained in their permanent record dossier reviewed by Saint Peter. And convicted felons are to lazy to go to court to realize this government benefit so the courts will seal their well documented criminal deeds as an added benefit in their cradle to grave taxpayer funded benefits package. Now your record is sealed go get some section 8 in a working class neighborhood with an abundance of potential victims.

What an opportunity for both graft clout contractings and live, real time streaming entertainment.

A snuggly fitted neck collar, body cam centered above breast bone, with audio mic directly in contact with voice box, thumbnail mugshot perched in both upper left and upper right corners, an easy and effective method to monitor in streaming real time these miscreants' bold and brainless choices.

The trending levels of web site usage would likely strain the internet connection providers' equipment severely.
