Spring Ahead
If you're reading this at work and wondering where everyone else is, they remembered to set their clocks ahead and finished roll call an hour ago.
There was a fable floating around years ago that when a gentleman attempted to explain Daylight Savings Time to a Native American, the Indian said something along the lines of, "Only the government could take a blanket, cut a foot off the top, sew it back on the bottom, and claim the blanket was a foot longer."
Is this the year they finally stop this crap?

i know its apocryphal, but that Indian definitely said “only the white man could…”
I’m retired after 37 years on the job, all but four years in districts. I don’t remember anybody coming in early when we push the clocks back. However, I remember several times when we had only 3/4 show up when we push the clocks forward. It is astonishing that the same people who cannot show up on time, carry guns and have the power to take away someone’s freedom.
I hope so.
Losing 1 hour is nothing compared to the hours I lost watching nonsensical e-Learning videos the past week. Of course not as disturbing as the “Please don’t shoot yourself while on duty” rollcall video or the sexual harassment “Would you like some tea? Let me force it down your throat” video. I’ve gotten more “education” from my Porn Hub subscription. {Honk Honk} Clown World.
Drive through Arizona. Indian reservations recognize DST, while the rest of the state does not.
The supposed Indian comment certainly seems apropos to today’s. dems with their “cutting Medicaid and Medicare” bleating when in fact they are increasing it by two percent not their last four years of nine percent per year increases.
