NYC Regrets

So after electing a islamic-socialist mayor who promised to de-fund police, pay for government run grocery stores and raise taxes along with all sorts of other crap, regular New York citizens are realizing how badly they screwed the pooch.

How badly?

• he is proposing to make the speed camera zones around schools active 24/7/365....when kids aren't even there and schools aren't even open;
• the speed limit will be knocked down to 15 MPH 

A money grab pure and simple to fund his impossible budget....and it's going to tag the common folks more than any millionaire or billionaire. And that has reduced the governor to begging for wealthy people to come back to New York so that they can pay fines there:

• Gov. Kathy Hochul is begging wealthy New Yorkers who fled the city to encourage their rich pals to come back and continue padding the Empire State’s lavish public handouts.

  Hochul made the case against caving to Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s demands that she hike income taxes — by saying she not only wants fat cats to stay in the city, but also by clawing at those who have moved to states with better business climates like Florida.

  “Maybe the first step should be to go down to Palm Beach and see who we can bring back home because our tax base has been eroded,” the Democratic governor said at a forum hosted by Politico last week.“I have to look at the fact that we are in competition with other states who have less of a tax burden on their corporations and their individuals,” she said.

Meanwhile, Hollywood "elites" are fleeing California and the multi-millionaire owner of Starbucks is leaving Washington for Florida.
