Someone pointed this out in a comment section. They quoted an entire article from the Sun Times which is a no-no due to copyright restrictions. But they brought up an amazing little tidbit that should concern every single citizen. Here are the relevant portions of the article:
A 20-year-old man was fatally stabbed after a verbal fight became physical early Sunday in the North Side’s Ravenswood neighborhood. The incident happened in the 4600 block of North Rockwell Avenue... [...]
Kevin Curtis, of 4108 N. Lawndale Ave., was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center at 2:20 a.m., according to a spokesman at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office, who said Curtis was stabbed at 4639 N. Rockwell Ave.
Unless the media got this entirely wrong, he was stabbed in Ravenswood, then transported 22.46 MILES to Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn? Was every single trauma hospital on bypass this weekend? They had to pass Illinois Masonic, Northwestern, hell they had to pass Sinai and Stroger. Lutheran is only 14.97 miles the other direction.
Imagine if you aren't a criminal and you get into an accident or have a heart attack. Normal everyday citizens should be terrified at this turn of events. How about the media asks about that? Then start asking the really hard questions.
UPDATE: Looks like the media, as per usual, fucked it up. The deceased passed from this mortal coil at Illinois Masonic. And the high quality fact checking editors at the Sun Times confuse Advocate hospitals dozens of miles apart.

Funny how things that happen are never reported. During the big gala that Maggie had a O'Harethere was one incident. The tents were set up on the west end of the runway on the threshold. While the "big show" was going on they had the runway lit up as bright as it could get and those trams were shuttling people back and forth.
Well all is well right? Luckily no one inside knew that above their heads a plane almost landed on them. A plane lined up to land that night and fortunately asked the tower why they only had half the runway lit. That's when the tower realized that he was lined up on the wrong runway and ordered him to turn left and go around. interesting huh?
Also, that plane that "blew one tire and skidded off the runway" last week. Well the airlines didn't want the people to know the real story there either.
That plane had lost all electrical power. The engines were the only thing provideing power. As it was stated "it was the same thing that happened in Sioux City". Which if you remember that one crashed into a cornfield in Iowa. The plane here also lost hydralic pressure also. The pilot literally steered the plane with his engines throttling up or down to gain height.
This pilot was a hero. He brought in a plane that should have crashed. When he came in he was sideways and gunned one engine to straighten out and dropped the plane on one of the smallest runways at O'hare. 7300 feet and he landed long. His breaks were locked on landing and he left about 4900 feet of skid mark blowing all but 2 tires before he turned left to avoid running into waiting planes on another taxiway.
He got stuck in the mud which was good because his 2 engines were running at flight speed for about ten minutes after he stopped. he could not shut down the plane. Nothing worked in the cockpit.
A true hero and nothing is said about it.

Most hospitals are filled to capacity nowdays.With every illegal alien clogging the system for free health care beds are in short supply.

Don't hesitate to come, the downtown tourist areas are very safe, and all the hospitals in the general area are great, especially Northwestern. You will have no problems, have a great time and eat well....
I think Illinois Masonic is an Advocate hosital as is Lutheran General

There is very poor value for your shopping dollar in the city limits. I realize that coming to the city can be a sightseeing trip of sorts, and I can't knock you for that, but I would suggest a number of different locations to shop with equal or better quality of merchandise.
The Lighthouse shopping center in Michigan City Indiana has excellent values. There's a lot of outlet stores with great bargains, some fantastic deals. That's where I do the majority of my holiday shopping.
Another good one is Gurnee Mills, in the far northern suburbs of Chicago (damn near Wisconsin). They have a huge variety of stores, although the bargains are not quite as good as the Lighthouse, they are all front line stores. Excellent nearby hotels for you to stay at, some with waterparks for the little kids to unwind.
Do your research. The sales tax rate here of 10.75% is not worth it. We refuse to pay it here, and you shouldn't either. Truthfully, the top line stores downtown cater to people with huge salaries, and the available gifts are not really good gifts in my opinion. Also, the parking rate averages $22-25 dollars. You should never have to pay anywhere when you are already going there to shop, to spend money.
Sorry if I sound like a cheap bast*%d, but I haven't had a pay raise for a long time now (15 months), and the bills are getting tougher to pay these days.
Here is a few facts. The suspect in the stabbing on Rockwell could stabbed the victim to death when a punch in the mouth would have been enough.

The new Tribune came out on Monday, Instead of news it now has some 1/2 some 3/4 and some full page color pictures to take up space and appeal to the fucking demmocratic idiots of this fair city and subburbs. We can take time to stare at colored pictures and not strain our brain by reading stories although most of those stories are false or lies so what differance does it make.
I'm going to the Sun Times, at lease they have words to read, might be lies but at this time in my life I can tell the differance.

Do not waste your time or money in our great city.
Last summer a visitor and his family were staying at a downtown hotel for the Taste and was nearly shot by a stray bullet that passed through a window, 2 walls and lodged in their room right over the headboard. This frightened visitor reported his Chicago experience on UTube. You see, the Mayor wants everyone to have a nice time in Chicago, even the thugs. He doesn't want the police to intervene because even thugs get to have a nice time at the Taste. Most thugs don't leave their guns at home and they shoot randomly at anyone and anything.
Yes our city has changed, thugs, theives, drug addicts, pick-pockets, illegals and relentless homeless beggars have taken over and have claimed the "rights". Our present administration does not want us to be proactive anymore. The media, store front reverends, city hall politicians, police administration and liberals have what they want and they won't let us be the great police department we once were. We have fewer police on the streets and are stretched to the limits. We just lost another one of our fine officers in a shoot-out by a felon with a rap sheet as long as Michigan Ave and who should have stayed in prison.
Our media reports that the offender's sister says he was Muslim and saying his prayers in his car when he shot our officer in the head. Oh, and Mayor Daley does not want anyone to own a gun, it is a city ordinance. Yet every drug dealer and gang banger has a gun and use them freely.
However, if you are an illegal alien, then by all means come to Chicago, because Daley welcomes all of them with open arms, even if they commit violent crimes, he doesn't care. So what if an illegal commits a felony in our town. You see, we are a "sanctuary city". Our police officers cannot, (even though there is a federal law), question the legal status of anyone in custody because Mayor Daley does not like that.
So my fellow American and neighbor from Michigan, I wouldn't take my family anywhere downtown anymore. You can thank Mayor Daley and his merry band of idiots and thieves for bringing this city down.
PS Check out some of the nicer suburbs and they will welcome you with open arms AND don't shop in Cook County unless you want to be robbed by our taxes. We have the highest retail taxes in the US.

There is nothing wrong with the hospitals here. People are just pointing out that their must be an error in the reporting,because it is not common practice to drive 22.5 miles to christ hospital when there are 4 or 5 trauma centers that are closer. Unless those hospitals where on bypass because their trauma centers where full with all the gangbangers that are shooting each other.
