I don't have a problem with him liking designer labels, but the issue I have is that this was the same day as the protest that was designed to hurt retailers on Black Friday so they could send a message. So he took his money to the Macy's in the suburbs and gave them his $15 in tax money opposed to giving it to the city, and at the end of the day, Macy's still got their money. The people that enjoy coming into Chicago to shop on Michigan Ave that didn't come on Friday will still come and spend their money another day after the protesters have gone home. I've got family living in Glenview and attend a Church there who have St. Sabina designated as their sister church. They drive down once a month or so in their Lexus's with the family and bring in bags of stuff for some parishioners of the church whom they have " adopted" thru this sister church program. I was told its to help these people out of their situation. Well at a family function in Glenview I was listening to some of them and their friends telling of their harrowing experience in the ghetto and how they have seen how tough it is in Englewood while others looked on in awe and praised them for being so brave and caring. They proclaimed how they were really helping their " adopted church family" out of their lot in life and we're really making a difference. At this point I asked them " well if you really want to help them escape the violence of the ghetto you should all raise some money in your church to buy a house or apartment building here in Glenview where your adopted church families could move too and live and send their kids to school here to escape the violence of Englewood and the chicago public schools. " Well that killed the conversation, their faces went blank and they just stared around at each other looking nervous, and then got up one by one to mingle elsewhere. As a born again Christian I am all for helping our fellow man created in Gods image. What gets me is the phoniness of this kind of so called charity. You see they did is not to really help these people but to make themselves feel good and get praised for it......

When Angelo and his crew took the reigns of FOP the first thing they did was roll back the excesses of the City-Wide team. The salaries for the field reps went down 30k a year and about 40k for the president. That saves us over 200k a year . Someone needs to confront Donahue when he started the golden parachute salaries!

Wait staff and sales persons who lost money because of Pfleiger's antics should be compensated if they have to go to court and testify. The stores might also make good their losses of their employees even if Pfleiger doesn't pay.
Customers would felt threatened and suffered losses may also be called to testify.
If anyone wants to become a witness for Pfleiger and either planned the assault or was on the scene they will become a co-defendant and could be held liable for losses incurred by the plaintiffs.
I don't think the assets of St. Sabina's could be included but they would probably be spent on his legal fees. He may become more expensive than he is worth making him just another storefront rev-run.
I can imagine Pfleiger screaming in his high squeaky voice using words that no man of the cloth should ever use.

Meanwhile, Tavern on the Park, a high end restaurant, was very accommodating to officers who needed to relieve themselves. Wildberry Cafe, gave breakfast breads and coffee to officers. Brought it to us on their own.

Graduated from St. Sabina in the 60's. About 10 years ago, a friend gave me a mass card after my parents died. The mass for the card was Christmas Midnight Mass at St. Sabina. It was the only time I can ever remember bringing a firearm to church. Long story short, St. Sabina Church was packed. My understanding is that few of the students at St. Sabina "Academy" are even catholic. But back to the point. Phleger, who grew up in St. Thomas More, talks like a Baptist Rev at the masses he conducts. I had to follow the program that was passed among the congregation because there was nothing for 90 minutes I was there that came close to resembling a Roman Catholic mass. But as I said, the place was packed so money isn't an issue in this parish. But those gigantic black hands that jut out from behind the altar probably scare the faithful into digging a little deeper into their pockets for this fraud.

1. Nobody is forcing you to invest your money in deferred comp.
2. There are some very low fee investment options available in it if you take some time to do a little research.
The Pfaker was wearing a $300.00 North Face 3 in 1 jacket on Friday while he was walking and singing in the rain on Michigan. On Sunday he lapsed into what he thinks is the local dialect and claimed he shut down the shopping on Michigan. Must have bought the jacket on line.
Phlager also has a condo downtown. I don't know why the store owners and their customers don't sue phlager, cupich, the archdiocese, Karen lewis and all the others who blocked access to the stores. They violated these peoples civil rights to free access to the store and basically kept them away and cost people money. People have a right to shop there. Sue the church and archbishop because he is phlager's boss.
This makes me sick, there are sales people working on commision that count on Black Fri that got sandbagged by this "Do As I Say Not As I Do-ouche" Now is the time to call him out to the Church.

Anyway. Quick story for you all. My buddy is a ER nurse at Christ. Faker came into the ER with another mutt shot. Mutt is going to live but Faker was there dictating to the nurses and the doctors including the trauma team on how to do their jobs and questioning their every action. I asked why wasnt security called for him to be put in the waiting room like evrybody else. No family or friends or anybody go to the trauma side when fresh delivered by the medics. They wait until stabalization and then they can one at a time come to visit. Not Faker. He was right in the middle of all the bodies in and out of the trauma room just short of performing the immediate surgery himself.
The answer to why security wasn't called? He said..."They were going to but everyone was afriad he'd all of a sudden pull the race card and order his people to protest the hospital so they let him do what he wanted."
The black community will follow anybody right off a cliff. Anybody. Including this charlatan.
Time on phone says 3:52 a.m. Was he out shopping in the middle of the night?
Water Tower Place on Friday bought all the officers who worked there pizza and pop. They roped off a dining area in the main lobby off of Michigan. All the stores provided restrooms and drinks. A class operation overall. Thank you Water Tower Place for your support and kindness.

First, it didn't happen in Chicago; it happened in Kansas City. Second, it happened weeks ago - October 11 - and has been mentioned here before. Third, Olive Garden's president apologized directly to the officer and publicly stated police are ALWAYS welcome. One stupid hostess does not define a company's policy.
It has been a long time since I was there, but if I remember correctly, Macy's is in River Oaks Mall which is in Calumet City. Back in the day it was nice, but that was before certain individuals discovered it.

The photo doesn't say 'Lansing', but some geographically challenged person might have. Doesn't mean the pic isn't real. (Doesn't mean it IS real, either.)
Pfleger and St. Sabina have tons of money, partially because of people from places like Glenview with their fake white guilt and other people with money that support him. For some reason the Chicago Archdioces is afraid of him, so he will remain a priest and at St. Sabina until the day that he decends into hell.

Catholics are Christian.
While in Navy boot camp a young Baptist boy informed me that Catholics weren't Christian. Even asked me if we drink blood as part of the mass. I guess that's what they teach 'em ... but pls allow me to enlighten the poster: Catholics ARE, most definitely, Christian.

I'm not fan of his at all, he actually makes my stomach turn. With that being said, Priest do receive a salary, and extra money for performing weddings, funerals, baptism's etc. And if one thinks Ralph Lauren and Movado are expensive you should see what vestments costs. I've been in Rome a few times and we've always had to stop at the Priest vestment store so my Aunt can buy some as gifts to her Priests. They can easily run a grand or more. Father Greeley was a millionaire off his book sales, and lives in the Hancock. Everyone has their hand in the pot.
