How about this for some BS. The 1st Deputy called a mandatory meeting for certain Commanders with "Hispanic" districts. They are mandated to bring one Hispanic officer who will be the liaison to the Hispanic community. They are also being made to do interviews for a puclic service announcement declaring threat the CPD supports Rahm and his sanctuary city bull. Most coppers are saying thanks but no thanks since many of them actually don't believe in Rahms philosophy. The 1st deputy is livid that nobody will "volunteer" to help get Rahms message out and has demanded that the Commanders bring a Hispanic officer or don't show up at all!!
After the Sessions press conference, you'd be pretty soft to volunteer for something like this. And if you're drafted, you better be keeping a very detailed notebook of who told you what, when and who else was present.

The amount of backstabbing in 010 to get assigned certain cars or to be "accepted" into tac (even though it's basically reverse seniority) is ridiculous. Just look at VRI, coppers could care less that the city is using them to slow hiring, as long as they get theirs! I have a hard time believing they are having trouble filling this spot.

When ICE asks that an arrestee be detained until an ICE agent is available to take the individual into custody it is a Constitutional violation according to Rahm, Preckwinkle and the ACLU.
When the SAO tells a detective, who requests an arrest warrant, for an individual and is told no arrest warrant will be approved but the detective should place an "investigative alert" on the subject so he will be detained when an officer has contact with the individual.
Both policies appear to be Constitutional violations according to the reasoning in the first scenario.
If officers are then subject to litigation by the ACLU or Loevy & Loevy or Flint will Foxx step forward and defend her office's position? What will Rahm or Toni say?
It is my opinion that detectives should quit placing "investigative alerts" on individuals and officers should no longer detain them when notified.
It just proves that the politicians that have run Chicago into the ground will continue to do so just to get a few votes to stay in power. Rahm will forfeit billions of $$$$ just to stay in power. It's all about them. All the federal government is asking is for Chicago to follow the law and notify them when illegal immigrants are charged with crimes. What's wrong with that? Who wants these criminals around? It's insane to think our politicians will fight this. Get the criminals out of here and maybe crime will drop too. Maybe the city and county will spend less money fighting, prosecuting, and housing criminals also.

Speak for yourself. I have been and will continue to assist our Federal partners in bringing said criminals to justice. Just be quiet and be smart. When and if I am caught, I will rain hell fire down on this Mayor that aids criminals. I have made friends in the media and it will be a story.... or they can leave me alone to do my job.
