All sorts of letters of support being submitted, all saying that Mike was just looking out for citizens, that he didn't mean to break those silly laws, it was all unintentional, and he was always a good example to his friends and family.
Where do we send the letters encouraging maximum penalties for graft, corruption and turning Illinois into an unlivable hellhole with $150 billion in unpayable debt, crime is unpunished and there are two or three tiers of "justice" where the connected seem to escape accountability?

Killinois is the poster child for term limits
They've been operating this way for 100 years, it's accepted practice in this town,the feds are just lions who pass thru once per decade and cut a straggler or 2 out of the herd. Just a cost of doing business. Worth it for most,and like dc and the mob when they get out of prison they are taken care of by a connected business or ngo.never gonna change until they have mass public hangings in other words never.

The machine is still alive and well in Illinois. I predict a very light sentence. His sentence will happen late in the day on a Friday and the news reports will be relatively non existent until the courts are closed. There will be little chance for public outrage to take place. They own the media too.

Madigan did lot of good for the state of Illinois and for his constituents! I hope he only gets home confinement! Also a lot of people wouldn't have good paying government jobs if it wasnt because of him.
All the letters to set aside orlower the sentencing are written by other connected or want to be connected criminal politicians.
