I have observed from videos of past Antifa riots in Seattle and Portland, and more recently in LA, that Antifa is using the same street organization and control groups / patterns.
The local / small group control seems to be organized around a (sergeant) wearing work gloves painted orange for visibility, with a slogan screamer in front of him as a visible target, a couple of thugs nearby for close combat, and a communicator (radio / phone) behind them, usually orbiting on a bicycle. This group seems to direct the larger crowds around them.
Keep your eyes open, and look for patterns.

Garien Gatewood, Chicago's Deputy Mayor of Community Safety and Director at the Illinois Justice Project (iljp.org-check out their section on Chicago Police) was interviewed on ABC 7 on Fri. "CPD cancels officers' days off to handle protests, events."
Gatewood relates they are working with the protesters & organizers so they are safe and to pull out any bad actors. The reporter asked if it was safe for people to come downtown as people were canceling their plans. Gatewood said you should not be nervous about coming downtown! The reporter asked' what are you going to do if things get out of control? He said things will not get out of control!
So they put this "spokesperson" out there to give a sanitized woke description of what is going to occur. Someone with no police experience in dealing with mass crowds of protesters and hired Antifa rabble rousers. Has he been watching on what has occurred in LA & NYC? Did you notice there has been nobody from the CPD Command Staff or other law enforcement agencies commenting on what the rules of engagement shall be before the event. guess they are not running the CPD. Contrast this with:

If you look up the case of an elderly lawyer mobbed by BLM protesters, Stephanie Rapkin -- covered accurately, according to her, only by me, though she is a liberal -- you'll see what happens when someone accidently drives into an unknown protest without a permit and tries to flee on foot. They followed her home and threatened her life; her cancer meds were taken from her; she lost her law practice; she served time in jail, was charged with hate crimes (later dropped), and could have been killed when ANTIFA "medics" surrounded her and wouldn't let her flee as the real mob approached and attacked her.
She lost everything. She was just going downtown to her law office. The protesters chalked "racist" and "child killer" outside her house. She served serious time for her age and condition. Her neighbors shun her. The media misrepresented the story wildly. Luckily I cached it, and the whole video of her being detained and attacked, and the threats before they were disappeared. Her attacker was literally given the keys to the city. He said he felt like he was being lynched by her. He's easily twice her size.
Stay safe, and also try to keep people like Stephanie safe. I'm not trying to promote myself -- I do this all for free because cops saved my life in 1986. If I had any other way to share this story, I would do it. But everyone else lied about her.

She was being held by a circle of ANTIFA "medics" as the mob approached. She was trying to run away. The young man lunged at her first, leaning into her, cupping his hands and screaming directly into her mouth and face. She recoiled, then spat. The media cut that part out, cut out the "medics" surrounding her so the kid could get to her, cut out the mob behind him, and only showed a screen-shot of her reacting to a terrifying attack. Then she was followed home and her life was threatened. I was lucky to cache the whole thing and the death threats before they were taken down.
