Did They Even Read the Order?
So the President signed an Executive Order "banning the burning of the American flag."
OMG! It's fascism! The dictatorship is here! It's unconstitutional!
Did anyone actually read what was written?
- Trump emphasized that the Supreme Court, which protected flag burning under the First Amendment in the 1989 Texas v. Johnson case, has not ruled that burning the flag in a manner that can incite a riot or violence is constitutionally protected.
So, incitement to riot, which is already against the law, is the defining factor. And in fact, the E.O. acknowledges Freedom of Speech is still protected, so if you want to burn your own flag on your property, have at it!
But we'll predict that in short order, democrats and leftists will be burning every flag they can get their hands on....and once again, they're on the wrong side of a 80-20 or 70-30 issue with all the accompanying bad publicity.
UPDATE: As we were just reminded:
- Who was it again who was jailing American citizens for daring to burn rubber on "pride" flags painted on streets and crosswalks?
Oh yeah, that would be the "progressive" left.

Hold on! Hold on! I am asking for a friend, weren't all of the vaccine mandates by executive order? Were not all of the DREAMERS created by executive order?
Love it.
Whatever happened to chitown sue?
No. Of course no one (except the media) read it, because the media, in their non-stop efforts to paint Mr. Trump as a Nazi, teased only the part of the story that THEY wanted to put out. As usual; they lie by omission. That's also their beef with him in regards to the National Guard deployments; they can't let it look as if he's being successful, nor that he's fulfilling the desires of the voters.
So.
Burn any flag of any nation, and if said burning is the catalyst for resulting violence, those commiting said violence will be joined by those setting aflame the catalyst thereto.
Logical.
The Dems have been saying for 9 years now that trump is literally Hitler and we are currently under a fascist dictatorship. It certainly doesn’t feel that way. In a hundred years, scholars are going to study this period of our country’s history and will shake their heads at the ridiculousness of the Democrat’s behavior
Just don't burn the alphabet flag. Some poor guy in another state was just sentence to 14 years for that offense.
Armed robbery doesn’t get you in prison here in Chicago
