Government Shutdown?
Did anyone notice that there's a government shutdown? Must not be too serious if we haven't noticed anything. Maybe the government is just too darn big and needs to be trimmed.
As you may or may not know, the main sticking point is democrats want $1 trillion for ILLEGAL ALIEN health care. For those claiming, "No they don't" you're not paying attention to New York, California and Illinois who have all passed laws funding ILLEGAL ALIEN care through programs that are largely funded by the federal government. Just because you pass the money around doesn't mean the source changed.
But aside from that, they're demanding continuation or increasing payments for subsidies to the Obamacare Act - subsidies that democrats negotiated a sunset provision for.
- so they're protesting the provisions they passed
- why does anyone need "subsidies" for the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare)?
The fact that a subsidy exists means the "affordable care" isn't actually....affordable.

Yes the Democrats are pushing for that money because it keeps their machine running. They need it for the illegals who can be counted in the census and who will be future voters. They need the money for “law enforcement”, violence interrupters aka gang bangers, anti violence programs for men of the cloth, NGOs violence programs. They get the money for the phony programs and then kick back a percentage to the Dems. The machine needs your tax dollars to exist.
Always follow the money. Those Obamacare subsidy's fund all kinds of medical related programs in other countries. Yes they do. Do some research. I wonder why the Democrats want to fund medical programs in other countries.

The ACA is flawed. It forces people to take and pay for items of health insurance that they do not need. The insurance companies were in on this with Obama as the companies stood to make more money . End the subsidies. Healthy people should get a job and pay for their own health care. No health care for illegals.

ACA was created by Mitt Romney in Massachusetts. Republicans loved the idea b/c it forces EVERYONE to buy health insurance, more business for them (like how in IL you must buy auto insurance if you have a car).
Obama & Company thought they would win a bunch of conservative business friends if they took this GOP idea from a single state & made it nationwide.
And of course we now see how well that worked out.
ACA is the biggest pile of garbage in the history of the world. The subsidies...they're unAmerican, they were used to prop the system up. But at this point, a WHOLE lot of people are caught up in the mess. Not because they're gaming the system, but rather because their other opportunities for healthcare dried up as a result of ACA. They had no other alternative. THIS is why ACA was ill-conceived from the get-go. But here we are. I think we need some kind of wind-down, some kind of exit strategy, so that half the households in the US who are forced to use ACA (or go uninsured) don't end up going bankrupt. Again, ACA was AWFUL. But when an important industry is surreptitiously nationalized by criminal politicians...the innocent bystanders shouldn't be left holding the bag. Just my two cents.

The democrats (the reason for the shutdown) are hard are work during the shutdown. Did you hear what they're working on? They are creating an ICE tracker so people can track ICE and follow them. Yep, they want law enforcement officers dead. When do we say enough is enough. I wish there was a fund to track and follow all democratic politicians.
