Those Police District Councils are simply money laundering operations for political whores:
The chairman of the police council tasked with improving policing in some of Chicago’s most violence-plagued neighborhoods has not shown up for work or responded to emails or phone calls in nearly a year, but he continues to collect his city paycheck, according to city officials and his fellow council members.
David Boykin, the elected chair of the 6th District Council, has not attended a single council meeting since April 2025 and has not responded to communications from his colleagues, according to Aisha Humphries and Ciera Whitaker, the two other members of the three-person council.
This is at the low end of political graft, a mere $500 per month, not like those Somali health care swindles going on for multi-billions of dollars in Minnesota or the lesser lucrative here in Illinois for a single billion of so.
But it adds up.

I heard that retired Sgt who vouched for the head of COPA also vouched for Boykin. Said he’s truly a great man, hard working, never missed a day of work in his life. I think he followed it up with how OJ was innocent and how he would never lay a hand on a woman. I would never doubt his judgement. He’s 3/3 in my book! Thanks sarge!

Speaking off! I now feel brave enough to speed out about my Supervisors in 020. Thank you 050 Brave Hearts! Sgt MO and Sgt SG make me work 6 hours on 1st watch while they split shifts and work 4 hrs. It’s just so unfair. I’m so glad you guys in 050 get it!

This is the same principle though. This guy convinces everyone in his circle (jerk) to vote democratic. The big swindles are where the kickbacks and funding for the paid protesters come from.
Look at what happened when USAID was shut down. No wonder the democrats are fighting investigations such as those in Minnesota so hard.

If you see sergeants splitting shifts it is on you to report it. A sergeant should be at roll call and check off. Anything less, they need to put in a slip. Put your name on the complaint if you have the honor to even put a complaint in.

I don’t get it. Why would you want your Sgt around at all. When I was a younger copper 20+ years ago we’d never ask for a sgt and would rarely see one all day. Make your own decisions and move on. I truly don’t get these new coppers.
Let’s not forget.. check off for POs is NOT at 0545 on the early side and 0645 on the late side. IF YOU want to talk, make sure you are aware that early check off is 0645 and late check off is 0745. Also, roll call is 2200 and 2300… not 2230 and 2330. Same for days and afternoons…. Should we count how many people on the watches work 9 for 9??? Every day everyone is getting 1.5-2hrs from the company… remember that.
