Stop Already
Back in the day, you used to be able to access the blog on Department computers. So many people were doing it however, that Phil Cline had the eggheads ban it - it seems that so many people were reading and commenting that it directly affected work, and you can't have government employees being inefficient!
Someone should remind everyone that's doing their shopping online using Department computers, too:
We're assuming this is off-duty after working hours, because there isn't a Watch Operations Lieutenant in the city that would allow this clothing during work hours, right?

Leave the guy alone. What a piece of crap taking pictures like that. Can't trust no one even people we are supposed to trust with our lives. Photographer is basically a rat.
There are so many things wrong with that photo
Must be a future "merit" promotee, buying kneepads!!!!
That photo is from northside district. I’d tell you which one, but I don’t want to out the officer. Her part-time job is to read stories to children at the public library.
This is what the department is going towards. Give it ten more years and there will be a lot more than one guy looking at this type of stuff. I’m just shaking my head.
Pink knee compression sleeves, I see. Based on his physique and outfit it’s obvious he’s a bigtime brutal athlete who leaves it all on the court during his park district men’s volleyball league.
Ooooh look. He got the Under Armour starter kit, but he skipped leg day
He’s a civilian. Great guy, would give you the shirt off his back. He changes into his uniform after about an hour. Only coppers that have a problem with him are douche bags who don’t have answers to simple questions about their arrestee or coppers who have lied to the arrestee about why they are there. He keeps the lockup running like a machine. Anyone who has a problem with him can fuck off.
Look like FRod in Grand Central to me you can tell because he’s doing OT an his chin pubes is showing but dragon breath lady LT only going to scream at the roll call over bump card's never mind her favs leave out three hours early from SDSC AND RADIO ROOM GTFOHB
Talk about BAD 'tas'
😫😫😫
My god, is this what the po-po is wearing these days? I left when everybody was still wearing pants. When you are the po-po always know who is behind you and what is going on behind you.
Is that the WoL ?
I don’t understand why a grown ass man is wearing yoga pants.
Old Joe used to book flights on company computers on company time back when he was working.
Tact secretary in 025 wears leggings and t- shirt...WTF. But the Deputy Chief is running around hammering P O. On all the watches in the area...Place is a joke
No UA head and wrist sweat bands. Goof
Nothing wrong with shopping on line. Better at work thus more quality time at home.
We had a desk Sgt who was in uniform and never wore his gun. WOL never called him on it.
Good guy. Changes to go workout after his shift is over. Bunch of rats on this dept now.
Not cool to take pics of this guy. Who gives a fuck? Nobody else ever did personal shit on a CPD computer? Our Tact secretary was addicted to Hairy Girl fetish porn and figured out how to get around the block. But she was a damned good Tact secretary and I was proud to serve with her.
That’s ok. The 025 tact Lt wears his uniform everyday so people don’t confuse him with tact
Sgt or a lowly PO. 🤡 🤡
Ok. So an off duty guy is wearing off duty attire and shopping online? What’s the problem here besides some nosey bitch recording what he is doing…?
looks like the caps sgt studying for the Lt test
Sounds like your jealous
F-em all K!!! Keep getting your workouts in…during your lunch of course. I hope you find the coward who took that.
oh get over it
To be completely honest the gentleman you’re referring to is not that great of a guy and he goes out of his way for no reason at all to be an asshole. He doesn’t change into his uniform after an hour either that claim is false. That’s his uniform all the time. As far as telling someone to fuck off if they don’t like what you say is really silly. Maybe that’s why you’ve stayed in 011 your entire career.
11th district lock up keeper. Most disrespectful person I’ve encounter on the department. Never seen him in a uniform. Refused prisoners an hour before his shift ends.
Let me get this straight…it’s NOT ok for a civilian lockup keeper to wear those weird tights but it’s ok for the salty radio room guy to wear Star Trek t-shirts and cargo shorts every day?!
Work in 018 days and see a lot of outside units do retail shopping on duty. Looks ridiculous
Guy is a civilian lockup keeper who wears that all day.
…what?
The outfit not withstanding…got a problem with the guy go up to him and tell him to his face don’t be a bitch, take a picture and send it out. Another example of why this department is every man for himself.
Great, be a snitch and get the internet blocked for everyone. Nice job
Was it the shoes?
Stylin'!
025 is lucky to have anyone willing to work for the tact Lt they have there. They are already losing a good sgt back there to retirement and there is zero people wanting to fill the spot. Why doesn’t the commander make a change. Guy made that office toxic.
Based on his attire I wouldn’t want the shirt off his back
100% agree
Who gives a fuck!
My guess is that it was the “pink” knee sleeves that pushed the camera person over the top.
Only thing he should get in trouble for is looking at pink knee pads
Poor Sgt. must have had Sheriff Andy Taylor Syndrome; Sheriff seldom wore a gun.
"That's very stylish!"
- Inspector Callahan
The useless female working SDSC in 019 1W walks around in crocs and during roll call.
Is that the 025th district tact office where the Lieutenant is in a dating relationship with the commander?
All secretary/ house mouses need to follow uniform standards... these guys keep changing their days off, changing their start times so they don't have to burn a slip it's b*******... you got something going on and it's its during your watch drop a slip like everybody else.. you work inside for God's sakes
Why is an ambulance waiting on a cop for this? There already aren't enough ambulances and then you make them wait on this?! Shouldn't CPD go at the same time as CFD for a death anyway?.... Sounds like CPD was trying to avoid doing paperwork and they're pushing it on fire...
Easy to get the blog on cpd 'puters. Don't use ****** or their ***. Don't want to say because it's easy to fix if they wanted to.
Great supervisory leadership. Maybe the Inspections folks should spend some time there instead of hassling the street rank and file.
frodo? Frod?
You want to see officers disrespecting the uniform and shopping on line… you should see the front office staff at O’Hare!
When in uniform all wear cargo pants that are 10 years old, shirts that are faded to sky blue and all in gym shoes!! One guy has goatee!!
They shop online 6 hrs a day, book flights, run errands!!!
Area 5 is becoming a Joke.
Tact Lt scared, A/5
Prt Lt scared but i heard a great price on brakes jobs because he's a handjob...lol
The Tactical Lieutenant position has become nothing more than a clouted hiding spot, serving little to no operational purpose. Once a vital leadership role during high-tempo events, today’s Tact Lts—at least in some districts—are ghosting their responsibilities. Their primary function has devolved into basic admin work that any capable sergeant could handle.
During recent deployments, including the July 3rd and 4th night shifts, our Tact Lt was nowhere to be found—they worked 2nd watch while the teams were detailed out or covering nights. While the rest of the officers / Sgt’s were in the streets, they got to enjoy the holidays from the comfort of home. It’s the latest example of a trend I’ve never seen in my 23 years on the job: a Tactical Lieutenant position that requires no tactics, no leadership, and no accountability. These spots used to be filled by workhorses who led from the front, especially during protests or civil unrest. Now, they’re held by ghosts who sneak out the back door or work primarily day shifts. Time to eliminate the position—or at the very least, bring integrity back to it.
What questions would be asked of a copper from a lock up keeper about an arrestee? All questions from a detention aid are always directed at the arrestee.
LMAO
Preach the truth my brother
I like sky blue
Roy boy
