The animal that was taken off the face of the earth by the hero Sgt. was playing the game and knew that he had a better chance in our wonderful justice system by taking a shot at the police..he knew that if he shot and missed or shot and killed(thankfully not) the Sgt. The legal system would not punish him to severely..Just the other day at 26th st. We had a UUW case going with a gangbanging shithead we caught with a loaded 25cal in his pants..his defense attorney was a former states attorney and a former co-worker with them. The state asked us if it would be ok if he was charged with a misd. UUW. We said no, and they did it anyway. I guess it's who you know not only for the CPD, but for the shitheads too! Why go the extra mile? For what? Stay safe brothers!

We really don't know what occured, and there is a lot of confusion over the matter at this time. If this man was just let out of jail, and had no job, then the system failed this victim.
The department will, of course, fully investigate this matter.

The offender's firearm was recovered, and no officers were injured.
