WORD IS SOME COPS FROM VICE/PROSTITUTION ARE UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR SHORTING THE MONEY THEY INVENTORIED OFF THE ARRESTEES.
An insider said that they have over 100 cases, including federal agents purposely getting arresting for attempting to pick up prostitutes, who had their money inventoried but the amount inventoried (some weren't even inventoried) were a lot less than the agent had at the time of their arrests.
Sounds like the FEDS will be doing a hat trick act with multiple CPD specialized units going down for different illegal activities.
Word is that the Feds are also happy because these different investigations include mostly white males and females. Evening up the past black scandals.
Sounds like "Operation Angel" had a few devils in it.
The Feds requested through a subpoena the arrest records, inventories and the department photographs of over 24 current and former VICE PROSTITUTION officers to aid in their investigation.
The Feds also requested the A&A sheets of the hours these officers worked including overtime.
Now if the FEDS in fact were at the minimum keeping prostitution under surveillance, sounds like at the minimum they will be using theft of City funds (officers with false overtime slips and slipping early from work) to use it as leverage to force cooperation in the bigger fish of stealing City funds as well as the "Johns" arrestees' cash.
The protests will not die down until the media stops reporting them. Understand that unemployed people have nothing better to do and self employed people- gang bangers and dope dealers- can make their own hours, there is all kinds of spare time to keep the protests going.
Hopefully, one of these days some reporter will expose the real fallacy behind all of this. We, the police, are inhibiting the economic development of certain areas ofthe city. We are driving the rich dope dealers and gan bangers out and replacing them with displaced suburbanites who need a placed to live in the city.

I talked with an officer who has been down at vice for a while. He claims that if the FBI have been actively investigating prostitution that the scandal will be VERY BIG! He claims many of these guys arrested for solicitation of prostitutes were ripped off big time. And that a few of the officers involved would even brag about how much they got. I sure hope their cell phones weren't tapped.
A secondary note is that some of the cops detailed to vice are given a fake identity including a drivers license and other ID's. Word is that some of these cops were using these fake identities to obtain credit and other things of value then skipping out on the money they owe. The FBI has also subpoena the whole list of "Covert Identities" given to the Vice Officers.
And don't think the FBI isn't also looking at how many of these officers were attending college on department time. The subpoena also included tuition reimbursement made by the City.
The Chances that JOHN MARK KARR killed Ramsey are as good as your chances of winning the Lotto........... 12 weeks in a row.
In Chicago, we couldn't even get approval to call Bangkok, let alone bring this guys back, based on his story!
