Now that this little circus is over, Daley can get back to planning the 2016 Olympic Games, underfunding everyone's pensions, and denying he knows anything about politics as usual:
- Mayor Richard M. Daley has qualified for the ballot in next month's mayoral election. Rejecting a challenge by a Daley rival, the City Board of Elections said Monday that the mayor had collected valid signatures from at least 12,500 registered voters as required.

Dorothy and "Doc", one of them is a shill. They are doing what Daley did to Jane Byrne and resulted in the election of Harold Washington.
This is the same setup as the last election. A male and female black candidate, splitting the black vote so Daley can coast to victory.
Did anyone notice in the last election, that in the whitest areas of the city there were a lot of votes for those two. I take it that those vote came from city employees.
you had to know that the challenges would fail; but, looking at the overall picture, Chicago gets four more years of King Daley, Democratic rule, a corrupt and/or neutered city council....nothing changes. One might wonder why that happens, why the voters don't wake up and vote for change...maybe a college student can make that the subject of a reasearch paper...

Doesn't The Constitution give the American people to tear down a government that gets to corrupt or to big? I think we should use that and fix this shit hole and crook county.

The City of Chicago issues the W-2's on 30 Jan 2007. They wait till the last day entitled by Federal Law. It's a joke. Many private comapnies issue them the first week of January. But the slackers and slow ass ghost payroll employees in the Finance Dept. can't work that fast.

I was working that night in 023. The person you are refering to is S. Dailey and he works on a gun team (I believe in A/5). He is the biggest lush on the department. I guess witnesses heard him call a F/1 a "n****r" and she turned around knocked him out. Her and her friend continued to kick him for several seconds while he was knocked out. According to the FOP, Daley has asked for our endorsment for the first time since his first election. The FOP is suppose to interview this week most of the candidates who have asked for our support. Man would it be nice to sit in on those meetings.
Is that Mo Dailey's kid? I ran into him and two of his drunken A/5 Gun Team buddies one night at a bar. Dailey was laying on the ground in the bathroom and the other two were trying to help him up. He started motherfucking me for looking at him and then told me they were the police and will kick my ass. He called me an old man, fuck I was only 34 at the time. So I thought, "3 on 1, this ain't gonna be good", then I told him I used to work for his dad, what a good guy he was (which he wasn't R.I.P.). That defused the situation. For those of you who don't know, Dailey was the Tact Lt in 024 and then the Cdr of 012. He was real tight with the Whalens. He passed away last year. And if you weren't his guy, he was a total jagoff. Rumor had it he owned a ski resort with a convicted dope dealer and was forced to retire before he logged enough time for his exempt pension. It's good to see the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

On behalf of our friend Mo Daley, he did own a ski resort with several childhood friends. When he was a young man, they bought the land and literally cut the trees down and used the wood to build the property themselves. He retired with 30 plus years and with only one year as a commander. He made us proud, as he walked out of an exempt meeting telling his inane collegues they were all nuts, and he quit that very day. He was a very good boss and a very generous and happy person to be around. He has a great family, which included other well respected, hard working police, who also passed young. As you wouldn't know about that type of reverence, lad, it was the 60s and 70s. Mo passed at a young age of a slow and painful illness. We, his friends, miss him dearly. Maybe S.D. will read this and slow down, as his dad is watching him.
