Another Photo Op?

  • Holding up a five-inch thick stack of work orders to fix jail doors, Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart on Wednesday hailed a new law making it a felony for inmates to jam objects into cell doors to prevent them from locking.

Gov. Quinn signed the bill into law Wednesday at a news conference with Dart in a maximum-security wing of the Cook County Jail.

"It is no small issue for us," Dart said.

Did anyone think that prisoners aren't going to damage things, make life difficult for guards, not try to move contraband in and out of cells?

Of course, this could probably be nothing more than another photo-op for Dart and has aspirations for higher office.

These prisoners are going to be in big trouble now. Quinn signed a law. Does he know these guys are in jail because they break laws?

The School teacher "Play Sheriff" 19th Ward political hack Dart never misses an opportunity to get his mug in the papers. Only race pimp Jesse is his equal. Just another Daley stooge, waiting in the wings for Daley to drop dead. He doesn't have the balls to confront Daley for the mayor job so he'll just have to wait...and hope for mayor Ratso to have a grabber, like his old man.

What a fu*king joke!

I am so sick and tired of all these bullshit news clips of Quinn signing new bills into law.

I wish there was some real way to convey to the public how absolutely worthless most of the laws are when the absolutely worthless Cook County judges REFUSE to sentence guilty people to any kind of a meaningful prison term.

My child took a crayon the other day and ran it back and forth across his piece of paper. When he had thoughtfully added the final touches to his work of art, he held it up and said "Look what I did, Mommy", hoping to get my approval on his masterpiece. It was at that moment that I realized that that's the same beaming look that these idiot elected officials get of their faces when their silly piece of legislation gets signed into law.

A child's scribble is waaaay more important than any bill signed into law that won't be judged or sentenced in the manner that was originally intended.

The law is long overdue. The problem is charging someone. I can see a judge have a finding of not guilty on the charge when there will be no witnesses. The evidence will be a broken door. There won't be anything else.

If Tom Dart does run for higher office I hope he wins. I knew him as an ASA in the 6th District and he did a great job, treating Cops with respect. He did a good job as a State Rep, and has done a good job as Sheriff, much better than some of the numb nuts before him

So what does this new law really mean? NOTHING! The offenders won't be prosecuted and even if they are, the jails are over crowded so the politicians will just release them early to save their budget money for their friends.

Totally meaningless and more Democratic smoke and mirrors.

THEY JAM STUFF IN DOORS AND THEY STILL GET CREDIT 4 GOOD TIME.

THE REASON IS THE SHERIFFS DONT WANT TO DO PAPER WORK REGARDING THE ANIMALS BEHAVIOR. IT EASIER TO CALL AN ENGINEER TO FIX THE DOOR.

Democommiecrats are great for creating more and more laws and then when enacted, they don't do anything to enforce them. We allready have far far too many laws on the books, and murderers, thieves, [Daley & Co.] robbers, dope dealers, etc; etc. etc; are still running wild in every part of the U.S. Illegal immigration laws are on the books, and being ignored by your president [not mine] and his entire staff of Federal Law enforcement supervisors. Pick and choose by our politicians is not part of why laws are on the books. Making more redundent laws just wastes even more of the taxpayers dollars, which could be used to hire more police, firefighters, and correctional personnel.

Attention:

Attention"

Sheriff Dart,

I intend to peruse Craigslist and fine a "medical student" to give me a relaxing "rub and tug".

I will set it up for 2PM so you have time to alert the media for the photo op.

I live at 4258 MacGuffin St.

Alert your crack team of CCSPD investigators to get right on that.

It's not like you could get on TV if a real arrest were made.

HAHAHA what a goof ball....... If he put half as much energy into getting rid of his gang banger corrections officers and other jail workers who bring the shit into the jail there would be no problem... He has a dumb ass nurse who brings dope AND A GUN (Yep never heard anything from him about the gun which they still havent found)but this is so much more important.

OT - Interesting view of Detroit as seen thru the eyes of Detroit Fire Fighters.
"BURN - One year on the front lines of the battle to save Detroit". This is a trailer for the documentary.
FF: "95% of what I do is arson. Very rarely do we have a legitimate fire. There are times we will fight 10 fires in one night"
Arson investigator: "This month, as far as arson is concerned, we're investigating over 500 fires, and that is for this month alone".
Reporter: On this street 60 out of 66 houses are abandoned, they've been gutted, many of them burned."

He's also going after deadbeat dads for failure of child support. Funny thing most these dads don't have a pot to piss in anyway, so it's squeezing blood from a turnip. Your Crook County Tax $$.
Hey Sheriff Showboater, Screech from Saved By the Bell called, he wants his hairstyle back!!

I hope Dart gets your support for Mayor of Chicago.

Just as long as he and his band of ex-asa get out of the Sheriffs Department.

You will be sorry, trust me.

What an asshole. I knew his as an Asa also, however, now he is an Ass.
