Where the Money Is; Where the Cops Aren't
Two men were charged in connection with the armed robberies of two Bakers Square restaurants, including one that was held up Sunday night on the Far North Side, according to Chicago police.
Eugene Wright, 37, of the 6300 block of South Sangamon Street, and Michael Morgan, 27, of the 10600 block of South Racine Avenue, were each charged with felony armed robbery in the holdups, police said.
Bail was set at $400,000 each for Wright and Morgan when they appeared for their bond hearing on the charges today before Cook County Criminal Court Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil.

So if we're in our 24th straight month of crime reduction, why are we seeing this phenomenon? And why are we still going to strip low-crime districts of exactly what keeps them low-crime and give it over to the leeches?
And as an added bonus:
- Wright and Morgan, who each have at least one armed robbery conviction in their criminal backgrounds, are currently under investigation for similar crimes, police said.
