Just add "man with a gun" to any call. And the cops come racing in. Why take the bait everytime? Especially those calls from bogus cellphones.
Hope the officers are ok. Remember, none of these mutts are worth driving crazy for so take is easy unless its another officer then do what you got to do.

It was not a call they were responding go, it was to assist an officer on a foot chase!

Last night in 011 on first watch, 9 out of 18 cars were either in a zone or or a fixed posts-responding only to calls in their assigned zone. That's 9 cars remaining for a busy district to pick up the slack.the zone cars have to get relief for lunch and personals. Nothing like asking permission to pee!

There's always units available. Look how many come out of the woodwork when one mentions "guns" Why even some of those mission cars from 025 showed up in 015 for the large crowd with guns. Even 2548 showed up to get some contact cards.
So if I'm stuck in a zone and leave said zone to assist another officer asking for help, exactly what punishment am I looking at, who is enforcing it, and what is my recourse?
