- Judge Brim almost started a Race riot in open court one day before her arrest. On March 8,2012 Judge Brim was presiding over traffic court call at Markham Courthouse on Thursday. Judge Brim suddenly stop proceedings just minutes in and began to chastise the white officers in front of the predominantly black audience. Judge Brim left the bench and started to preach to the audience and taunt the officers with racial slurs. Judge Brim accused the officers of targeting blacks and hispanic drivers. She pointed at the officers and said "I'm tired of these white racist cops targeting you" and "these are the people that raped our ancestors" to cheers from the audience. Some of members of the audience even stood up and joined her hurling racial insults at the officers. It took the arrival of more officers and Brim's removal before order was restored. She is Jesse's niece. Nothing will be done. Her salary is $ 181,929 annually. She still receives it....

I'm no McComstat and I have yet to shoot out a streetlight, there's still time, but it seems to me that if you work in a suburb or district that is overwhelmingly non white you're likely to pull over a large majority of non white traffic offenders.
Please put me in for a merit promotion or a transfer to the crystal ball unit.

Jesse's niece? Seeing how I haven't heard this before I would assume she is Jesse White's niece, not Jesse Jackson's. Does anyone remember former officer L.B. from 23? She was also Jesse White's niece and had an extensive history of disciplinary problems before finally being fired for falsely accusing a captain of sexual harassament. She told me that her uncle called to get her out of trouble in the past, but I guess it finally became too much and even her phone call wasn't enough to save her. Assuming this judge is another niece of Jesse White's, the people of Illinois should know about the political connections of these public servants and the effect they have on our city/county/state.

I write a lot of Jews and Caucasians on my beat because that's the area I patrol, that doesn't make me racist. If that's the case, then black officers should patrol black communities and whites should do the same, etc.etc. So, one is not accused of being racist.
Her arguement lacks credibility since Markham is surrounded by predominantly black suburbs. If she was working Rolling Meadows and the vast majority of the defendants were black, then she has an arguement.

This woman is dispicable (another affirmative action merit promotee) and so is the Chief Judge. He is presiding over a corrupt court system which speaks volumes of him in my opinion too. He knows it, you cops know it, and a good number of we citizens know it. Channel 7 newsreader sock puppet Ron ended his news clip about this the night before, "there was no word if she will return to the bench". Of course she will, we promote the incompetent in this state. Absolutely disgusting.
Q: Where do you go to have her removed from office. (other then not re-election her). Can the Chief Judge or the IL Supreme Court remove her[without pay]? How can any elected official defend her to keep her job, she is insane, her words not mine. Now anyone who ever had a case before can get a new trial on reason of insanity.
I have heard a version of this story before.

You are correct!! I have on several occasions. I was testifying before her at one time and she made a comment to the defense attorney along the lines of "ask him the real reason for the stop". At that point I just stated "I don't recall" to all questioning and as soon as I was asked to have a seat, I gathered my stuff and walked out of court, with the bailiff and court officer following behind asking me to return to the court room. Let the court throw out all the cases for all I care. No officer has to stand there and take that shit from ANYONE.
The big question now is, how many defense attorneys (and states atty's) have the balls to file a motion to have all their cases that went before her, brought back up?

Funny these dousches are allowed to regulate themselves in which nothing but a slap on the wrist is usually the punishment doled out. Just like the Judge in Will County using his state lap top to watch porn. We had an attorney perjur himself in court testifyng an officer used racial slurs and was rude, unbeknownst to him the officer brought the video and showed he was lying, we confronted the ASA and said he should be charged. We were told, we aren't gonna go there....But if it was an officer we would be barred from testifying in that court house ever again.
She should be in the FEDERAL pen!

Black officers don't want to patrol black communities because it's too frustrating for them. They see how their families, children and culture have become enslaved by the Democrat's welfare system.

The story from 023, was something nobody would believe. Jesse White neice decided that she was not going to work the wagon one day, went in and told the Captain TL that the brakes were bad and the vehicle needed to be downed. TL decided to check the wagon personally, so he got in the drivers seat with Jesse's niece in the passenger seat and drove around the block a couple times, after testing the brakes and found them working good,He drove to the station and told her she will be still working the wagon, the niece opened the door and jumped out of the moving vehicle. Landing on the street, she was slightly injured. Talk about un fucking believable !

Look up the definition of racism, there is no such thing as reverse racism. If a person who is black hates a person who is white, then that is racism. Its based on your race, no reverse policies here.

The officers involved should all file a formal complaint, thenfile a federal lawsuit. Also the chief judge and the county should be named.

Probably affirmative "actioned" into law school just like our president and his wife.
Judge Evans is concerned with getting more relatives hired and giving those already on the payroll a raise ( 2 daughters making almost 100 grand a year to manage the jury pool). It is shame that the democrats slate Brim for any job and then back her for reelection time and time again just because she is black, a women, a democrat and clouted by blood. I predict she will be back on tghe bench after a period of medical leave, withpay, and her assurance she will stay on her meds.And you are correct, if this was reversed and Brim was a white judge it would be national news with black congressman and alderman yelling on national TV.Bobby Rush would be wearing a hooded sweatshirt on the floor of congress.

i am disgusted of this woman racist. she cries insanity for a criminal case where she is the defendant? wow, what an example she is setting and for her to be allowed to come back again and again is an insult to the taxpayers and anyone involved in the judicial process. there needs to be a petition set out for this maniac. simply just to not allow her to have her job back because she is insane like she says. however, i am sure the plan is to let her collect some mental health pay and do nothing but sponge off the taxpayers.
I heard that the racist rant occurred when the South Holland Police Department (SHPD) was having traffic court in Markham (6th. Municipal District).
South Holland is 90% black, so it would seem logical that most of the traffic violators in South Holland are black. But I guess the insane judge can't figure that out, so she goes off on the white SHPD officers.
The insane judge is such a nut case, that the only court room she could be assigned to is traffic court, where there are no records kept of any testimony. It would be embarrassing to her supervisors if she would have a racist rank in a felony or misdemeanor courtroom, where this is a court reporter that documents all that occurred in the courtroom.

Yeah word of this made headlines pretty fast in the area... She was presiding over a South Holland traffic call, guess Brim forgot that South Holland, a predominately black community (74%), along with the surrounding communities are predominately black as well (some, at 90%+) The tirade lasted about 45 minutes until an associate judge came to get her off the bench and finish the call out.
Let's not forget she was also followed home by news crews for leaving work very early even before this incident took place.

If they did could she hold them in contempt? On another note, this is corrosion of our system. For an elected official to go on a castrating tirade like that not only puts people's lives at risk, but it encourages violent behavior from criminals. Can you imagine if this was a senator or congressman doing this in a combat zone infront of Army soldiers? Superintendent, this is why Chicago is the murder capital of the US. Its not demographics, geography, or poverty...its the overconfidence criminals get from elected judges. I wish someone in your office would enlighten you to the number of low profile violent offenders that are commit crimes with the thought, "nothing will happen to me" because they have been dismissed from court multiple times under the judicial pretense that an officer was wrong! And that thought encourages them to fight police for their next crime! You want numerical data, you will find a 99.999% rate of gang related homicides where the offender has 10+ arrests and been released contrary to the criminal statute.
It costs money you say? Well what will cost more? Settling a lawsuit with gangbanger using the ACLU to claim his rights are violated or ANOTHER 5 year old girl shot that makes international news? When outside investors hear that they think, "Invest in Chicago? #%&* that"!

I agree. Nobody, especially law enforcement officers, have to put up with that racist nonsense by a judge.
They should've demanded to speak to her supervisor and file a formal complaint.
She will probably take a medical leave, seek treatment and be declared sane by some hack. Then when queired, she will say "I'm sane and have papers to prove it, what do any of you have to prove you are sane?"

Whats wrong with you. Put your professional reputation at risk? Really. In order to sue for money, you have to show you have a monetary loss, which they don't. Also she never mentioned any officer by name, so if thats not important maybe I should sue. Have fun with this one, run it by a few lawyers, they will probably be fighting to see how gets this money maker

I am a former PO in the Markham area. Just as many whites receive traffic tickets as blacks and hispanics. Most of the whites ticketed pay the ticket by mail, or attend traffic school on Saturdays because they have to work during the week while court is in session. Although it may appear the white police officers are racist it is the furthest thing from the truth. I also have heard racist comments from minority judges at the Markham courthouse. Ps. Many of the minorities in court were previously given supervision for a minor traffic offens and didn't pay the fine or court costs in a timely manner.
