False Reporting

This new Alternate Response thing?  Already being worked around - but this reaction would solve it if applied consistently across the board:
  • A young mother from Harvey was in trouble with police after lying about her baby being in her car when it was stolen Wednesday morning on Chicago’s South Side.

Jeanette Holt, 25, has been charged with one count of felony disorderly conduct, police said.

CBS 2’s [...] reports police rushed to a Chatham neighborhood daycare center around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, after Holt called 911 to report her 1997 Chevy Monte Carlo had been stolen with her 1-year-old son inside.
We noticed they updated the Disorderly Conduct Ordinance, allowing a police officer's peace to be breached under certain narrow circumstances, usually in the course of some sort of investigation.  It's like they're trying to give us a tool we used to use, but they still don't trust us with it.

UPDATE: Any bets on what the judge will do?

As usual the department makes a sweeping change for the whole city. As usual it will not make a difference in the ghetto. Everybody calls about guns and in progress crimes. It will take minutes for 911 callers to adapt around the new ARS guidelines to get an officer there for nonsense.

Can someone please fill in the det. division about how the no response to burglaries by police or ET's is supposed to be handled? When victims call yelling at us, what the hell are we supposed to tell them? McBoo is so impressed by patterns, how can you develop a pattern if you can't discern the point of entry, exit, MO, etc?

Are we also not going to respond to robberies where the robbery suspects have fled the scene and there is no further description than black jeans, black shoes, black ski mask and a blue steel handgun?

Why don't we just arm the citizens and stop responding to ALL calls?

This is the exception, charges have probably already been dismissed since the mother was distraught

Well, let's see. PreckDingle says they're are too many black and brown people in jail, so I guess nothing will be done after she goes before a crazy crook county judge who will scold the white officers for making the arrest and then dismissing the case.

That's Crook County justice. The only thing that'll be done is the officers might get sued. Now go get me some contact cards and some movers.

What is going to happen to the Rahm and County proposal that you will be fined 2,000.00 if someone is arrested with it and you failed to report your newly purchased firearm stolen. DUH lets see buy the gun and call 311 and report it missing cause you can't find it. No Police is coming out for that report.

I think we should make Maury Povich head of the department of children and family services when searching for the real father of these children.

something just like this happened in 007 not too long ago. a man called 911 indicating his child was kidnapped during a vehicular hijacking. he claimed his child was in the car during the robbery where a pistol was allegedly displayed. finally, an hour later was when the asshole told the truth and said there was no gun, no child involved and he just wanted the police to make his car a priority to find it because he was dumb enough to leave the keys in the car. when this makes it to court, what a miracle, no probable cause found. fucking crook county.

What's Mayor Daley been up to since leaving office? Well... in June his consulting firm's website posted this item which sounds more like a scene from Sacha Baron Cohen's movie "Borat:"

"President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with chief executives of the consulting company Tur Partners at the Kazan Kremlin. Company’s founder and Executive Chairman Richard M. Daley, Principal Patrick Daley, Managing Principal of Tur Partners Eurasia Mukharbek Aushev, Aide to the RT President on economic issues Airat Khairullin participated in the meeting."

OT . The last dicks class graduate on Friday. They were told on Thursday to wear their dress uniforms for the ceremony and had instructions today on how to don and doff their hats as well as salute the Supernintendo. Wellcome to the D Unit kids, now go out there and clear some cases!
    This will motivate them all.

So no response to vehicle theft? Idiots!!!! There are more and more drive bys everyday where stolen vehicles are being used.
So now people will call 311 and the plate will get on the hot sheet within a day, oh wait no more hot sheets.
Guess the 142% increase in auto thefts the last year don't mean shit.

What a joke this city has become. A carpetbagger mayor that is clueless about how city government works, has no idea how to govern. Only knows how to raise political contributions for his personal ambitions.

A carpetbagger superintendent of police who is clueless about fighting crime in Chicago and makes decent officers want to throw up every time he comes out with another useless plan, which in reality is a thinly disguised excuse to further thin the ranks of available officers.

A court system that releases repeat offenders repeatedly.
Judges that refuse to hold violent offenders accountable for their actions and release them on a technicality without ever going to trial.

State attorneys that refuse to approve charges on violent criminals unless they think its an open and shut case.

And least of all the news media. Most of the reporters,if not all,for the television and print media are not natives of Chicago. They eat the bullshit the mayor and superintendent give them without even a little fact checking.

The aldermen, they behave like scared children, afraid the bully mayor might cut off their benefits if they don't toe the line. No back bone there.

So trigger happy teen gang bangers are not afraid to kill for whatever reason because they can get away with it. Who is arresting them? The mayor, the superintendent, the states attorney, the lawyers, the judges, the aldermen, the media? They all make it easier for the violent criminal to get away with murder.

A little fact checking reveals the CPD does not have more police per capita then NY OR LA as repeatedly stated by our great and humble McOZ. Pay no attention to that tiny prancer behind the curtain.
The thin blue line has spoken.
