Another Smash n Grab
Not even five hours after we posted, it happens again:
- For the second time in as many days, a Chicago store was the target of a smash-and-grab robbery Thursday.
Thieves rushed inside, scooping up high-dollar, brand-name clothing, and the owner of J-Bees Clothing and Footwear says this is not the first time his store has been targeted.
Overseeing the boarding up of yet another store is not how Syed Hassan wanted to spend this Thanksgiving. And he doesn't want Chicagoans to get complacent about these increasingly brazen break-ins.
The video shows at least 20 individuals rushing the back of the J-Bees clothing store on West North Avenue after stealing a pickup truck to breach the back wall.
[...] Thieves escaped with some 80 pairs of expensive Robbins jeans, worth at least $250 a pair, Prada shoes and other items.
Lots of high-end merchandise in low/middle type stores. Where are the missions to prevent this?

How many of these cars were chased by the police and the chase was terminated? Maybe we need to do what New Jersey is doing...see Jacked TV series.
Once you figure out how to keep them from breaking in the front door, they smash in the back. Once you figure out how to prevent that, they'll come in the roof.
All the taxes that these businesses pay...
All the parking meters in front of their stores...
Where is all the money going???
and there are not enough police to prevent these RAM-JOBS.
I hope people will start to wake up and Fioretti start making noise about this.
Really
A
Horrible
Mayor
I've seen the videos of the of the massed attacks on these businesses. Anywhere from six to twenty offenders carrying armloads or bagloads of looted hi-end clothes.
I am now retired but can imagine running into a crowd of these thugs in the middle of the night. All you could do is tackle one. A TASER or OC probably won't work. You would need a big butterfly net or maybe the mounted unit to ride in flinging out a lariat like Roy Rodgers.
I can hear one of them using the words of Michel Brown, "Watcha gonna do about it."
I'm wondering if these "high end" items in low/middle type stores are real or some counterfeit knockoffs being sold at an ungodly profit.
025 district is them best mfers around here. Deys on de case.
I am so out of touch with what is going on in certain parts of the city. I get $15 dollar jeans from Costco, those $40 Levis from Kohls are too much money.
Is there an honor roll discount or are people really spending $250 for a pair of jeans? If people were being shot over $100 Jordans why aren't people being shot over $250 jeans? or are they?
The "poorest" people find money to buy the priciest clothing. Back Assward society.
No keeses here.
Wonder if the owner bought the high end merchandise from the thieves who got them from another ram and grab. Than another crew comes and takes them back for another resale? Be a good scam.
Maybe an insurance scam? Load your store with merchandise you can't sell and have friends steal it.
Carry and Conceal your weapons!
These people think they can do anything!
They were just expressing their displeasure with the Mike Brown Grand Jury decision.
Not surprising. The thugs have figured out that the police have no teeth. Wilding without consequences. Allowing these thugs to roam around downtown flexing and intimidating people.
They do want they want without consequences from the police. Gang loitering is allowed. Police don't even challenge them anymore. Gang enforcement is non existent. Gang specialists are non existent.
Charged with a felony beating of of the police? Anyone go to the hospital? This a toothless department. Leaderless department with merit hacks has destroyed moral not to mention the capability and will to respond to these thugs. VRI, 1st. and 16th.
I like how the Libune describes the stores:
"Store employees said Cisco Nyc, like J-Bees, sells brand-name street wear."
What the hell is "brand-name street wear"? Is that PC for Thug Wear??
WFT ovr?
How do the link , welfare card carrying , section 8 lowlife afford jeans T $250.00 a pair . Guess who is paying ?

Beware. The thugs are downtown pulling the pants off of unsuspecting tourists.

So much for your advice after the last incident:
Maybe a couple big pointy steel spikes at windshield height might dissuade these ne'er-do-wells?
Seems these animals can be taught, after all.
They must have stopped them from robbing the high end stores downtown, now they have to rob in the hood. First they robbed and burned the store sin the hood, then had to go downtown to rob, now they are back in the hood robbing, a never ending circle of violence and thievery.

Exactly. All of that crap is counterfeit. Concentrate on the organized crime operation of stealing luxury cars and shipping them to central and eastern Europe.
I'd like to be inside of one of these places with a couple of friends when the truck comes crashing in.
As the assholes come steaming in>> SURPRISE!!!
We would open up with full automatic paintball guns and turn them orange, green, yellow and red.
It would be lot of fun.
Wonder if the owner bought the high end merchandise from the thieves who got them from another ram and grab.
Nope! The Arab & Asian store owners buy all that knockoff, bootleg shit from China, via internet sites. Then, they simply tell their mostly, high school dropout, uneducated, dope boy, customer base, the shit's legit. The dumbasses take their word, and pay hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars for shit that's likely not even worth $75.00 in reality. Think about it:
If a store owner can afford to purchase legitimate merchandise, that sells for thousands of dollars, WHY THE FUCK would he then locate his store on the godforsaken westside of Chicago? Any merchant handling legit, designer merchandise of that caliber, could easily afford to be on the gold coast...or a major mall, at the very least.

Will someone please develop pellets that have the above pigments in indelible dye with high yield capsicum and a Putrescene/Cadaverine/Skatole odor agent?
Cue:
Burning hot, brightly and indelibly colored, death and shit stinking m/fers stumbling from the scene of a crime after getting that ass tore up...
Shit...
Can we have some 40mm versions for vehicle borne assholes and assholes barracaded in houses?
"Y'all can't use dat hot, stankin' shit on us cuz we gots da asthma up in heah! Finna sue y'all ass!"
Stumbling down the street with their skin burning, blind, screaming, stinking, crying, puking and shitting on themselves...
We'll pay admission to see that...
Don't commit crimes and this won't happen to your
ignorant ass...

True. A thief ripped off by a thief.

A: To serve the disadvantaged??
Maybe he could afford to be in major mall or on a major street if he had a legit credit history.
Here, he pays a little more insurance but less rent. It works out.
When breaking into stores, why not steal bug bombs, Windex, Clorox Beach, laundry soap, meat, bread, eggs, fruits & vegetables.
Did anyone think the offenders might be from Robbins and they're just advertising their pride for their community?
