Still No Comments (UPDATE - We're Back!)
Blogger is irritating us to no end. We haven't been able to read/moderate comments since late on 15 February.
Five days, six days starting as of this posting, without our regular back and forth, sarcastic readers, pointed commentary, etc. We are beyond unhappy with the situation.
We'll let you know as soon as something gets fixed.
UPDATE: Comments appear to be working again. We have nearly 1,000 backlogged and it might have been more if it hadn't been a holiday weekend. Hopefully we can get a bunch of it up and running before headed off into the night. Keep an eye out.

Were I of a conspiratorial mindset, I'd think that this is The Machine calling their friends at Google to try and kill the blog - a blog which causes them no end of embarrassment. Even if it wasn't "on purpose", some helpful leftist could have taken it upon himself to screw with you (e.g: The Twitter 'intern' who shut off Trump's account for a few hours).
This kind of chicanery is why I prefer to not use these freebie services. Put up a site, install WordPress on it, and forget this nonsense. Register the domain to a company out of Wyoming ($100/yr or so), then set "private registration" on the domain, and keep doing what you do so well.
