But Reilly took a break from his criticism of Trump on Sunday to pick on a new target: “suburban kids” who can’t handle their booze.
“My thanks to Streets & Sanitation for cleaning-up the disgusting mess St. Patrick's Day brought to downtown Chicago,” he tweeted Sunday morning. “No thanks to the thousands of drunk suburban kids who used our neighborhoods like a giant toilet bowl. Never ending cab horns from 1A-5A were a nice touch as well.”
Simple answer Brendan - cancel it all like the Southside did when it got too stupid to control.

- On Monday, Reilly was busy campaigning for Chris Kennedy, among the Democrats hoping to win his party’s nod in the Democratic primary, and did not respond to requests for comment, meaning we do not know how he identified the downtown drunkards, or their excretions, as suburban.
We suspect the explanation would be amusing, if not entirely reliable.
As reliable as any other number coming out of City Hall we suspect.

Brendan is shit faced every weekend downtown. For the parade his people handed out green knit caps with a gold star with "Bauer 29' on them in honor of commander Bauer. Initially I thought it was a nice gesture until I saw it said "Alderman Brendan Reilly" on the back which I thought was rather tacky and self serving.
And the irony is, Brendan is from the suburbs, if I'm not mistaken.
Change “like a giant toilet bowl” to the “toilet bowl it is” and you’re spot on.

In all of the years I’ve been at the downtown detail, invariably it is the non-residents that cause the most problems.
And agreed about cancelling it if necessary. The South Side Parade actually DID do the right thing and shut it down for a while. And not because they were forced to, but the committee realized it was the right thing to do. And after a few years, they brought it back- but now it is a scaled down shell of its former self, due to conditions placed on it.
Accountability, and self-control. If only every community could self-evaluate that way.....

Right. Because there weren’t any dirty ass city punks from Niles-ND taking part in the debauchery! I moved to the burbs after 20 years on the job. My nephew attends a north suburban catholic league school that played ND last year in football...what a bunch of ASSHOLES!! And I don’t just mean the dirty city kids but their parents too! First of all, they had a DJ with speakers that would put Garfield Park on a warm summers night to shame pointing right at our stands. They then blasted their finest rap/hip hop at us every chance they got complete with F bombs and N bombs. After we kicked the shit out of them the parents were hurling insults and abuse at not only us parents but anyone wearing our colors regardless of age! I saw one clearly drunk ND woman instigate a physical altercation with one of our students and when Niles PD arrived she flashed a CPD badge and demanded the KID be locked up!! It was disgusting and only after several adults (including myself) intervened and let the officer know it was her that was the offender was the kid released and the entire incident ignored. The exiting students were probably 75% drunk or high...the principal should be ashamed and the parents and community absolutely embarrassed! We shared our story with the other teams’ parents In the conference and each had a similar story. Anyway, point being the dirty city kids need no help from their suburban counterparts to destroy Chicago! Nice try Brendan!!

On politics, Cook County Democrat candidate for county tcommissioner Robert Fioretti spoke on the John and Ray Show on 890 am at 8:25 this morning. He stated he was running against the democrat machine. He spoke of the tricks the democrat machine has up their sleeve. He spoke of gang bangers intimidating seniors from going to the polls, manipulation/rigging of ballots, busing in outside voters and democrat party steered lucrative contracts via democrat machine influence.
He spoke of Cook County sponsored judges. Fioretti related that judges must adhere to two requirements. First a candidate must give $55,000 to the democrat party to get on the ballot. Second a judicial candidate must promise not to run on another party's ticket.
He also spoke of a corrupt property tax system in firm control of Joe Berrios and his challenger Prekwinkle. He suggested a common practice of political influence and wheeling and dealing behind the scenes.
Fioretti spoke of the Cook County Care free healthcare system. The federal government forwards $700 a month for healthcare for each citizen/undocumented alien registered in the County Care. Fioretti srgues the money is wasted and can better be appropriated. Interestingly when city issued identification cards are obtained, the free County healthcare program is pitched and the new identities are automatically signed up in this identification package. When the card is issued, they are granted library priveleges and free healthcare via a federal payment of $700/month automatically forwarded to the crooked, corrupt county supervisors. I would of liked Bob Fioretti to suggest a personal health savings account for the poor empowering them to choose or common sense "choice" for health care decision making. Put the poor in charge of their entitled monies introducing them to the everyday concept of pinching pennies stretching those federal given dollars for their "rights" to medical services.
No wonder why democrats without dissension voted for Obamacare. It was the money all along stupid sold under the time tested compassionate heart tugging emotional appeals.

I was born and lived in the city for decades,Working class family, went to Waller high school with the kids from Cabrini who were delivered on the #10 Larrabee bus, rode the CTA to Montgomery Wards on Chicago ave. to buy back to school clothes, hung out at Fullerton beach back when you could and kept 018 busy with my teenage BS and now your going to tell me to stay out of YOUR city ? GFY ! I Moved to a very near suburb that is working class,no maids,no BMWs. My adult (20s) children don't do the Pats parade and don't act like animals. We welcome CPD eating a bit out of the district,fly the Flag on our houses are good Americans,and if you decide to take on a Cop in my suburb the entire block will come out and have a come to Jesus moment with you .
