That's a very scary situation. When the "mob mentality" happens, they think they're invincible.
No matter how many resources we throw into communities like 15, 11, 7, 6, etc., they will always be irresponsible until they figure it out on their own. Take the police away, and in a few months or years, when the self-cleaning oven does its work, the remaining his citizens will ask for the police to return. And that during these attempts other persons pushed, shoved and grabbed these officers in an attempt to disarm, interrupt the original arrest? Interference of police and battery of P.O. Take this video to states attorney and get John Doe warrrants for these offenders and send teams to identify and place them under arrest.

I can remember summer of 1987 being a PPO in 009 working 10-99 when I rolled up on a mini riot like that. Retired years ago. In the 80s and 90s there would have been a swift and severe response by the department. The whole block would go. We weren’t perfect but we were respected by the law abiding and feared by criminals. The police back down these days. One of my partners used to say that certain segments of the population need to be policed a certain way.
I worked for Patrolman Joe for a couple of years. The last thing his crew of followers did was go home early.
