Arrests After Brawl
The "Giant Brawl" post from the weekend is finally getting some coverage.
It's from CWB of course, because a giant crowd attacking and injuring four cops isn't worthy of lamestream media coverage:
A chaotic street brawl involving Chicago police and a large crowd erupted on the city’s West Side Friday evening, sparked by the arrest of a 22-year-old man, according to a Chicago Police Department report.
The incident, captured in a viral video circulating online over the weekend, unfolded around 6:45 p.m. in the 100 block of North Lockwood, drawing dozens of officers to the scene after a “10-1” police emergency was declared.
The savages (that's a description of observed behavior) were attempting to free a narcotics arrestee, injuring a number of cops in the process.
And just a reminder:
- Under the SAFE-T Act, aggravated battery of a peace officer is not a detainable offense unless the officer suffers great bodily harm. Judge Susana Ortiz released Alexander, Burns, and Jackson to await trial.
Not a single assailant was held on any sort of bond except a signature.

Why is anyone making a PCS arrest anymore? Who cares if some west side shit hole block is selling rocks and blows? If the politicians don’t care and your own department doesn’t care then why do you care as a copper? Just let it burn, let the west be, just answer your calls. Respond to calls obeying all traffic laws. Handle appropriately, drop paper every time. Make sure your reports are done meticulously and with exacting detail, and if the report takes hours, so be it. Give the liberals what they want. Give the poor victims of racism what they want. And when the city looks like Mogadishu then you will know you have obeyed the will of the liberal retard. Who all live far far away from crime or low income neighborhoods. If Pricksger had to move his family to the west side, do you think he would have a different view about releasing criminals.

Hey SCC - I'm a real Chicago guy, born, raised, returned many, many times, this time I think for good.
I worked Disco Demolition Night at Old Comiskey Park and the 23-22 game at Wrigley Field Phillies finally beat us. I was also an Andy Frain usher , I won't list my academic credentials because you tough blue collar types will laugh at all the $ and time I wasted on these "prestigious , elite" schools, degrees which were mostly a complete waste!
I want to meet with others here and related elsewhere to start doing real world Chicago activism, not just complain anonymously on the internet. People like us did now a few years back - elect Rudy Giuliani and (not bad) mayor Bloomberg and they restored civilization in NYC.
Folks like us successfully recalled, and voted out 2 as bad as they get Soros Funded District Attorneys in San Francisco and LA. What have we done? Not much except voting out BLM crazy Kim Foxx.
OK - how about a safe, privacy protected meet and greet at some Chicago classic museum - maybe the Shed Aquarium weekly parties, steps of art institute.
I made some Chicago blue and white, Chicago flag business cards with the Second City url. Passing out business cards, post cards, leaflets is something simple, a start we can all do.
I have some practical ideas to organize and fight a competitive mayor candidate and do real, effective someone dirty campaign trips that Joe Kennedy, Lee Atwater did that worked.

I need court for comp time. I also am totally against drugs and the people the use and sell the products. I came on the job to arrest druggie burglars that destroyed by grandmothers neighborhood.
If there were a mission to Iran for the day with CPD, I’ll do it so that I’m not tied to radio assignments.
The officer doing the report most likely put down what the copper said happened. It is also in the general order to issue tickets if the person is incapacitated and cannot provide insurance. It’s very likely that the report officer will face no consequences as long as they interviewed the driving officer on bwc which I always recommend. Coppers will always seek a way out and will gladly throw a beat car under the bus who responds to do a report. Always have bwc on for the entire scene.
A clear one or just a bulge in the pants?
Without their names out there it will blow over. Would be a shame if someone released their names like they did the Rivera shooter.
