A Recording Studio?
Hey teachers, we know most of you are "progressives," communists, and really bad at your job of actually teaching. But stuff like this makes the current FOP scandal look like Amateur Hour:
The Chicago Teachers Union’s latest federal filing tells you how the union spends members’ money and it calls into question what the union isn’t telling them.
CTU’s filing shows it spent $173,000 on a “recording studio” in New Mexico with no helpful context on its purpose. But it did have a pool.
If CTU released its annual audits to members, as required in its internal rules, spending on a “recording studio” in New Mexico might have an explanation. But since it hasn’t released those audits since September 2020, members can only guess.
Each year CTU files a report with the U.S. Department of Labor detailing the money it has received and spent in the previous fiscal year. Buried within its 2025 report is a $173,000 expense to On Point Studios.
The location: Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Given the huge number of hidden sex beefs against CPS/CTU members (over 400), might this be their version of Davis-Gatestein Island?
Labels: sarcasm AND silliness, scandals

It’s where they go to teach the chillins how to become a rapper
Definitely need a federal forensic audit, along with this corruption filled city, state, county!
Sounds like they spend money like our FOP president.
You should be worried about your union stealing your money. Pay attention and stop auotomatic union deductions cperfectly legal. Vote with your money not your concerns.
The CTU sure doesn't behave like a union.
More like a political socialist party!
Time to revoke their tax exempt status?
Any fed's interested in reading their books???
Exactly how much money does conehead receive from them each year?
Enhancing his teachers pension?
I think it's nice of them to help New Mexico's economy. I mean really, Chicago doesn't need it or anything, right?
The Chicago Teachers Union, aka, CTU, aka, Complete Total Unification, aka, One Ring to Rule Over All, One Ring to Blind Them, One Ring to Seek Compliance, One Ring to Grope and Bind Them, proves out the theory of The Seven Deadly to Spirit Sins.
All 7 are found actively indulged in by this ctu collective of commonality creatures.
Maybe they got some of that blue glass from Walter white
You got the touch! You got the power! Yeah!
In the USSR, the Communist Party built all kinds of lavish mansions for the top party members. They also had access to stores that were fully stocked with food and all the latest western goods, while the average worker scraped by with very little. Comrade Chairwoman Gates is simply following the example of Lenin, Stalin, and the rest.
Not too crazy!
I said it before and I'll say it again. CPS needs a Federal Consent Decree. Full investigation and a Federal watch dog. The focus has to go back to reading and math. Recording studios, political protests, secret budgets sexual misconduct and appointed positions are only the tip of the iceberg.
CALPERS invested $428,000,000 in green energy and lost 71% of it. Do you know where your pension funds are?
Ummm … could it be that some connected grifter needed a “donation” so they could ensure a relative or a friend could meet their excessive payroll?
Interesting.
There is an On Point Studio in Albuquerque according to google but it is a dance studio.
Here's a link to their crappy web page https://onpointds.wixsite.com/website
That is the only thing that comes up for On Point Studio in Albuquerque.
I wonder if some CTU higher up is buying a place in NM with the union's money?
According to the Pension Outlook database, up to 2015 and with 11 years of pensionable years in,
CTU president Stacy Davis Gates has put in $1330.76 (2%) towards her own CTPF pension contribution while CPS has picked up $65,208 (7%) of the $66,538 (9%).
SDG has been on-loan to the CTU since late 2011
When she retires at 60, she'll use her top 5/10 highest year's salary (and that includes her $289K+ CTU salary) to figure out her yearly pension.
So, SGD will only have put in $1330.76 towards her own pension with CPS and the CTU picking up the rest
Think this, SDG will have a $200k+ yearly pension and only contributed herself $1330.76
New Mexico has a reputation as a place where the rich go to do things they don't want the public to know about. Beyond Epstein's ranch there (Zorro Ranch) there's a lot of land owned and sealed off from the public by the ultra-rich.

The names on the property tax bill are connected to “worker” organizations “Worker Powered Action.” It’s a so called non-profit and I have no idea if it’s affiliated with another one called “Worker Power,” but their Mission statement basically sounds like they train people to be paid protestors. .
I looked at that too. It's different address and people running it. Since I have too much time on my hands, I ran the Property tax info - On Point Studio is different. There's also a Non-Profit listed to the same two people who are the property tax record - it's all "marxist" BS "worker United" stuff.
and that is why Illinois' and Chicago pension funds are hanging on by a thread.
