Bridgeport Doesn't Care?
No one even bothers to call the police any more:
A man and woman were found shot to death inside an SUV that apparently sat unnoticed in a Bridgeport intersection for up to 20 minutes before police discovered their bodies Friday evening.
Shortly after 7 p.m., officers on patrol stopped to investigate a Ford Explorer that was stopped in the middle of 31st Street and Princeton Avenue, outside Franco’s Ristorante, according to Chicago police. Inside the vehicle, officers found a 41-year-old man in the driver’s seat and a 39-year-old woman in the passenger seat, both dead from gunshot wounds to their heads. A firearm was resting on the man’s lap, according to an officer at the scene.
Murder/suicide.
But twenty minutes in the middle of the intersection....and no one calls? No one curious enough to look into the vehicle? Maybe see someone slumped over and call 911?

Franco’s Ristorante is a great restaurant. Might I suggest the baked calamari with ceviche as an appetizer with their apple cider moonshine shots. Delicious.
I live in Bridgeport and 3 of my neighbors just had their garage’s broken into and no one reported anything. But all of them a crying no one is doing anything. All 3 neighbors want to move.
Franco's is a nice establishment to visit after a Sox game .

Bridgeport has been a mess forever. Get over thinking it’s a quality neighborhood.
First off, let’s get it straight — this is Armour Square, not Bridgeport. Bridgeport starts after the viaduct. The issue here isn’t with either neighborhood; it’s with what residents in both have been forced to deal with for years.
ShotSpotter, which has a sensor just a block away, would’ve picked up that incident immediately. 31st Street is the only viable route west without running into major sewer projects — and it’s a direct path to the 9th District.
What this really shows is how little regular police presence we have in these two neighborhoods. A patrol car rarely even comes down 31st, despite the fact that it runs right by the expressway and the Shell station — which has multiple calls for service every week.
Think twenty minutes is bad? Try calling 911 while someone’s breaking into your car. You’ll be lucky if the police show up at all.
and on a side note, the vehicle did get a parking ticket from the civilian dept of revenue peoples

This is not the Bridgeport of old when we used to beat people for messing with our neighbors. The Daley sold us out to the CCP ( Chinese Communist Party) Every house that goes up for sale is bought by CCP they move whole families in Grandmother all the way to great grandchildren. They took over every public school in the neighborhood. The NGO's are all Chinese schools for after school learning paid for by the city. They all have fake drivers licenses from the State facility on Archer and Canal. When you go to grocery store they are all paying with the LINK card . Nicloe Lee works with a CCP group The Chinese American Service League to get these illegals all they need to be able to survive in Shitcago. Health care, LINK card, Drivers Licenses. And the biggest part Housing. All the buildings along Wentworth used to be old black people NOW They are all Chinese . As long as they can control the VOTE that is all they care about. Lee won the alderman election by more then 2500 votes all bused in by Chinese American Service League all the election judges at McGuane park for early voting where Chinese. and when Anthony brought in some Chinese people help him the were attacked and several times the police were called. John Daley is behind the CCP occupation of the neighborhood Just look at his donors list. Word is there is video of Lee and members of the Chinese American Service League registering illegal voters and explaining to them how to go to Mc Guane and VOTE. Now this is something ICE needs to look into.

Vehicles double parked in Bridgeport and Armour Park is an everyday occurrence and many vehicles are left for hours. I am surprised it only took 20 minutes for a squad to go down 31st, usually 009 is so undermanned it could have taken hours before one happened to drive that way..

Bridgeport is a shell of what it used to be. It was much better when the Outfit was front and center the Italians there had pride in their neighborhood and outsiders knew not to step out of line over there. Bridgeport is fake it’s now woke and progressive I rather have the Kings back on Morgan instead of the blue hair skinny jeans antiiifffa types you’ll see there now.

Not necessarily undermanned. But it would look that way when a car takes 4 hours to complete a misdemeanor arrest.
I think the last time a shooting got this much attention in Bridgeport was when Ronnie Jarrett was wacked. I was told by a former CPD Chief the FBI did it, batching ip an early morning arrest. Prove me wrong
