Shots Fired "Near" the Police
Yet another "mass shooting" it the busy part of town:
Four people were injured early Friday when multiple gunmen, including at least one wielding a rifle, opened fire along the iconic Division Street nightlife corridor, according to preliminary information collected by CWBChicago.
Chicago police officers, including more than two dozen probationary officers, were already stationed in the area when the shooting occurred around 3:48 a.m. Officers said they saw gunmen in two vehicles unleash a torrent of gunfire down Division Street before speeding away.
Police first spotted the suspected vehicles about 15 minutes earlier, around 3:31 a.m., when a gray Acura CL and a black SUV believed to be a Jeep Grand Cherokee were seen racing south on State Street from Division. An officer said the two vehicles continued circling the neighborhood for several minutes before the shooting
Gee, just a mile away from July's actual mass shooting where four were killed at a rap album release party.... which was also the scene of a previous shooting the year before.
Anyone know what those two dozen PPOs think about all this? They sticking around? Asking for the pension fund.

Why were they pre-positioned?
Any ppo needs to work for a department that will have your back. A department where ProMotion tests are fair and getting into a unit is based up on ability and knowledge. Cpd is not that department. Rest assured a ppo now that stays, will soon enough be working for a socialist mayor. As a retire, get out and live a good life somewhere else.
I'm an expert. Actually, it's better for the fund to do the following
1. Allow officers to leave through attrition.
2. Don't hire any more officers.
3. Instead of officers contributing the 9% and the city 18% which would be a total of 27% ......actually the city has to give approx 30% due to the arc funding schedule.
Have the city give the full avg salary of $100,000.00 to the pension fund for each officer that is not hired.
Viola ---pension problem solved.

Not sure where to write this for you to follow up but last night 18 th district had tons of police on a block for some eventppo’s and tac . 2 cars following each other in front of police shooting like crazy in front of police no one chased the cars that shooting front of them 4 ppl shot. It was downright embarrassing to see 2 dozen police officers run and hide, not “seeking cover “. Not a single officer engaged the threat to the public. The citizens of Chicago should see how they are being protected.

Captured on POD, no one bothered going after the shooters. One tac team got into the car and quickly exited the car. Were they ordered to stand down???? The other tac team did not even bother.
Another example of messing with the crime stats. If you watch the video it was definitely shots fire AT police. You had 60 officers all on the block. The shooters get out and are shooting downrange towards all the officers. Of the 4 people shot, only 2 had IR’s. One of them only locked up for traffic and the other was a 60+year old bust out.
