First PPP Fraud, Now Housing Fraud?
To be fair, there's a bunch of precedent for this:
- Two Chicago police officers, a city firefighter and a former Water Department employee have been indicted on federal fraud charges alleging they lied about their employment and income for years to qualify for subsidized housing assistance.
One of the accused worked on the west side where there have been a number of cops who deliberately misrepresented or concealed their real estate holdings to skirt the rules concerning "distressed neighborhood" home ownership. CWB wrote about one here along with a Tribune expose which went nowhere.
Even a Deputy Chief was involved but nothing ever happened to any of them. If you assist the higher-ups in a successful "enterprise," they'll go to bat for you throughout the investigative process. It's a story as old as Chicago Machine politics.

“Kameisha”. She’s been on extended medical her entire career every assignment she ever had extended medical now she has that job where she goes to elementary schools and talks about stop drop and roll and hands out stickers. Not surprised.
One tends to get comfortable in these fraudulent activities when deeply imbedded within the belly of the cheat beasts our city and county and state is populated by.
It's the extrapolation of the constanza principle variation, aka, it isn't fraud if not one is looking and many are applying this same standard.
Spot on! "Housing", probably the biggest scam going down in Chicago. Section 8 abuse alone costs taxpayers millions every year locally - (gummint check) plus a little "taste" (cash) on the side, every first of the month!
This is only one variety of the housing scams subsidized by we taxpayers. Mortgage fraud, kickbacks, govt. largess, etc. need auditing.
Federal fraud, from the top down, needs a DOGE treatment.
Gov. Chumly can furnish another way to scam RE taxes.
The feds are fed up.
Seems there’s been no consequences, as expected, of the handful of CFD Deputy District Chiefs who need more PPP money since their exempt rank salary isn’t enough.
But did they pay their water bills?
When I worked in the Taylor and Ida B in the mid eighties you would go into the apartments and see Postal and CTA uniforms hanging up in the closets. The occupants worked and made a good buck. They chose to live in the projects since they grew up there and knew how to navigate life there. Where else could you drink alcohol, piss in front of your residence and shoot your gun without your neighbors batting an eye? Many owned rental properties since they paid little or no rent. They're probably millionaires by now.
How about the "Gold Star Club" the same clowns that scoop up big portions of pension money? Why did fire eliminate gold braid pensions and highest pension rank is Lt which is tested rank?
They should be charged with denying illegal migrants at little of no cost housing opportunities making them wait in line on a long list. Think about it. You were in a South American prison a week earlier, get put on an American all expenses paid taxpayer flight to Chicago and then your democrats disrespect you by discarding you only providing residence in a tent or cold lobby floor at a Chicago Police station flop house. Out of jail free as a bird in your new country. Then the previous [Biden] administration and democrat strategists disrespect you putting you under the watchful eye of police desk crews. Public housing is a right for both Americans but also migrants too by a judicial order by an activist judge. Illegal migrants will remember what democrats did to them by denying housing benefits in the upcoming election once they obtain their "Real ID" state issued TSA compliant identification.
HUD OIG Chicago did the cases against them….
I was working a detail at Cabrini Green a few years back and an African American lady pulled up in a newer Caddy. Got out and was in a full CTA uniform. Struck up a conversation and she was actually very pleasant and liked the police. That being said I asked, why are you living here, obviously you’re making a few bucks. She stated my sister has a free apartment why wouldn’t I live here versus paying rent some place else. Unfortunately that is the mind set of certain people. Why work when I get a check for doing nothing. Why buy a house when I can live in government housing for free or next to nothing. That’s the problem with handouts. Some people just make do instead of trying to become independent and live a better life. It’s sad that the Democrats allow this to happen and to some extent encourage it so as to keep their voting base. Now these people in above who had good jobs will be back in the system getting g. He is and housing because they aren’t working. Screwed up system to say the least.
She’s all over the place on CFD videos. One within the last few months. Meanwhile, I look at her and wonder how the Hell she ever passed a physical fitness test. If tax payers only knew the DEI hires that have their lives in their hands.
I wonder how many Alderman own property with Section 8. Meanwhile, there’s a rumor that the socialist 49th Ward Alderman Maria Hadden lives in low income or subsidized housing.
Keep them on the west side and away from my pretty neighborhood
Now, kees me you fool!!!!
Kameisha shameisha on you
Next go after the fop. The friends of phil. The police memorial keeps hiring his retired gold star buddies to get 6 figure salaries on top of their gold braid pension. Isn't his kid stealing from there now? There is zero reason a cpd widow couldn't do those jobs.
This is what the deep $tate has planned for everyone, end capitalism and free enterprise, free housing where everyone is packed in 15 minute cities, legalized weed to keep everyone stupid, free food as long as you don’t mind eating zee bugs, unreliable electric cars to keep you from traveling across the country.
They will promise that communism will work this time.
Chief is the highest pension
Battalion chief to be exact. Except for the Commissioner.
All the other exempts besides the Commissioner revert back to there career service rank.(battalion chief or lower rank).
I believe there is no merit on CFD anymore
Fuck cline and Gross.
I recall a missing case I had. She had a nurse’s pension and was collecting a federal pension from her deceased husband. They were middle class for decades but living in old Abla townhomes for as long. Her daughter was also a nurse (and a crackhead) and living with her 2 kids in mom’s low income rental. I had to go to the home, the roaches were leaving the place. The house was knee high in garbage. A teenage kid was sleeping on the indentation of garbage in living room. I asked to see where mom slept. I seriously thought she might have been under the trash. The low income housing grift has been around for decades. If you never want to leave the ghetto because you feel its your entitlement to take from the “system” - literally or figuratively- you’ll always be there.
People like that rarely become millionaires. They drive in cars/SUVs with monthly notes as big as a mortgage on a modest home. They spend, spend, spend until you ask them to pay the water bill.
I recall post CPD Supe retirement Fat Phil coming to “teach” us one of our Lead Homicide classes at the academy. It was like having a substitute teacher- films for 45 minutes, 15 minute break. I wonder what he was getting paid to do that.
