More FOP Nonsense?
There are no checks and balances occurring at Lodge 7 (via an email):
- Members of the audit committee are supposed to meet quarterly. (It has been more than a year since this has happened.) The audit committee exists to review income and expenses. They are supposed to compare items, such as receipts, to ledger entries. While the committee has not been doing it's job, if it were to, how could Harold Brown, who takes in money at the store, audit his own actions? This is absurd and goes against basic accounting principles.
And the guy running the FOP store is on the audit committee?
Are they just meeting in the hallway and saying, "Books are good!" and calling that a meeting or what? Especially in light of the ongoing allegations, it certainly seems like there isn't even a fox watching the hen house any more.

Harold Brown has been part of the FOP in one way or another since it's beginning. You have to wonder why. But always follow the money.
Come to the fop meeting on Wed. Go to the mic and demand that all trustees come to the front so we can look into all of their eyes. Make a motion that they will answer any question under oath with the fop lawyer present at the meeting to further the 3 witches charges.
It's the active members that don't vote or come to meetings that are the biggest problem.

At the last Fop 7 Board meeting Catanzara had the Lodge Attorney Brian Hlavin come to explain why the “LODGE “ needed a special attorney who specializes in corruption to find out what was the scope of the federal investigation and who is the person they are investigating .
The minions on this Board voted to hire such an attorney . Needless to say once again they have done his bidding . The fact of the matter is John you are the subject of their investigation . Last Friday Catanzara received a subpoena for all of the financial statements from Lodge 7 in the past five years . Mr . Catanzara has a very bad credit history and has lost a boat , car and condo to foreclosure . Do you really think this is going to end well .
Catanzara’s total defense will be it was done “ with the advice and consent of the Board !” If you actually believe John is gonna man up than you haven’t been paying attention at all . Today was the Lodge 7 FOP meeting . The first thing I noticed was that there was no way to access the microphone the way the chairs were placed . There was no microphone until the start of the meeting .
The attorney just hired who specializes in public corruption and fraud was introduced immediately . He said he reached out to the Feds and the person assigned to the case .
He brought his brown satchel and announced his salary of $450 per hour . They are trying to downplay the seriousness of the situation and Catanzara attacked Mette at the microphone .

YOU ARE KIDDING RIGHT? He included women on his women’s committee and had them working like dogs. Unpaid by the way. Then he puts his girl on as a field rep, note: she attended 4 meetings in 3 years and hadn’t written a case report or handled a job in 20 years.
