Gaslighting Press Conference
So here's a link to Larritorious' press conference Monday:
Larry starts out by reading the timeline of two incidents that he claims are being conflated and confused, but that seems to be a pretext to further muddy the waters.
He actually starts with some good sense, explaining that CPD Use of Force, Rules and Regs, and reporting are completely different from Federal guidelines, and just because CPD is on the scene of an incident doesn't mean CPD is enforcing immigration law against ILLEGAL ALIENS. He also emphasizes that just because you disagree with a law doesn't give you permission to break other laws, a message that needs to be turned into Public Service Announcements and played on TV, radio and internet sites for the next few decades.
Unfortunately, that's where the good sense ends.
Larry claims "his Officers" aren't political pawns. We'd almost believe that if it weren't for the vaccination scandal he eagerly took part in, the biggest bit of political theater in history where Officers were stripped, suspended and threatened with job loss for daring to exercise bodily autonomy.
Then around 20:50, he starts making excuses for Hein. Around 34:00, a reporter cites the OEMC tapes and Larry deflects, saying there may have been "miscommunications," but he can't outright deny it seeing as how every media site in existence has the audio and are playing it non-stop. Then later, around 40:30 or so if our notes are right, he launches into a full-throated defense of Hein, about how he trusts him, he has character, social media shouldn't be believed, etc.
This is "his" Chief of Patrol. But compare these words with the utter silence where "his" First Deputy was stripped of all job responsibility and is (correctly) being forced out. You can see where Larry's words are not his own and his actions are directed by a puppet master.
Even Catanzara got in on the act, ripping the crap out of Hein as a known liar and tool on some Fox News panel (anyone have the link?) Will they start interviewing the bartenders over at Edison Park Inn?
The national media is having a field day with this, but the political winds are lining up behind Hein putting Larritorious out to deflect blame and confuse the media, leaving only two people at the short end of the shit stick:
- Beat 999 for fronting out Hein
- the unnamed OEMC dispatcher who relayed the info

The national's are pointing their fingers of blame at their respective targets, at Trump, by the skank media, and, by every honest media, at porkulus + conehead + democrats et al., where it belongs.

Larry obfuscates the issue and pressing matter. No one is saying that Chicago police did not respond to the ICE situation on Kedzie. The issue is that they were told not to respond (after they did) and for all units to leave.

Later when it was realized there was still trouble Hein ordered incident tac teams to go to the scene, however, only one car showed up in time at which time the Commander of 009 had early third watch respond to the scene. Unless hein talking to 999 was recorded or in a text, he can always say there was miscommunication and deflect. 999 was ultimately responsible for giving the order. Hein can simply say his order was misunderstood.
