Long Ride for Shirley

Madigan is serving 500 miles from home:

  • Michael J. Madigan, the country’s longest-serving state House leader and the longtime head of Illinois’ Democratic Party, is in prison.

Madigan, 83, surrendered Monday to a minimum-security federal prison camp in Morgantown, West Virginia, according to a source close to the former speaker.

That facility is 500 miles away from Chicago, just south of Pittsburgh.

No word if the Madigan's are going to buy a local condo there for visiting days, somewhere the kids and grandkids can stay while awaiting visiting days.

The good news is Mike has a prison commissary account:

  • Prison camps like the one in Morgantown are known to have little to no fencing. And inmates have access to a prison commissary. At Morgantown, Madigan could purchase pitted dates for $4.35, a chess set for $7.10 and an alarm clock for $10, according to a menu online.

Here's a link to the Rules and such for sending money

We'd say don't bother sending any until his $50 million bankroll starts running low.

Fuck him. He strutted around like a little god. Lied on the stand and judge called him out, kudos. Thanks for laughing at us and thinking we were little people.

Hmmm. The January 6'ers got solidary confinement sentenced by a Constitutionally minded judge for petitioning their government after being waved in by the authority of Capitol Police as captured on cell phone video (Not BWC) into the people's house. Free range penitentiary for the connected democrat versus a solitary Soviet Siberia style gulag with numerous documented instances and testimonials of Civil Rights violations perpetrated on Patriotic American citizens. Must be nice to be part of the democrat gangsters who committed actual crimes, are sentenced and then sent to trend setting 5 star fashionable jailhouse accommodations.

Wonderful if he'll be tapped by the bubbas for free legal advice? Or if he'll start his grifting in prison to con the cons? Or if he read any prison survival books? Poor WVa has to put up with him. His sentence is too short. Wonder if he asked Blago or other fromer hellinois politiliar silver bracelet winners for advice. Weren't all the other hellinois politiliars sent to harsher prisons? More politiliars should be locked up. It took too long for this clown to go away. Bye bye crooked Mike. Don't let the door hit you whilest it slams. Grab the popcorn kiddies. Prison life updates hitting a screen near you soon.

Read the prea report. He won't have to worry when dropping the soap or late night bubba romps. He really is in a country club prison. No alphabets in that soup. https://www.bop.gov/locations/institutions/mrg/mrg_prea.pdf?v=1.0.2

Well at least the family can get out of the State of Illinois and gas up in states with with much lower fuel and sales taxes. Top off the tank before entering Illinois. The little leprechaun Madigan won't be in the St Patrick's day parades no more donning his green sash. Question is- What party connected law firm should I retain for Cook County democrat rigged property tax challenges? Who is gonna rig the electric rates with Madigan's people in lockdown?

We all know Mike isn’t going to spend much time in prison. Transferring him 500 miles away is just for optics, a quick sleight of hand. He’ll probably serve about three to six months before suddenly experiencing a “medical issue” or “cognitive condition” that gets him home confinement instead. A more comfortable setting to finish out his time. No need for Shirley to rent an apartment because everyone knows the fix is already in.

All these poor rich thieves. They all cry that they are sick when they get caught and need a lesson sentence. Too bad for his wife allegedly not doing well but he should gave thought about her tears back. This thief strutted around the state and the southwest side where people feared him because he was a vengeful prick. He will probably serve a little bit of jail time then back home to stay. Fuck him a d Burke too.

In Illinois you can be convicted of shooting three boneheads standing on the corner on the West Side and STILL be sent home with an ankle bracelet. Madigan is gonna be sent home with a bracelet and a prepaid subscription to Netflix. Home Run Inn pizzas delivered..All paid for by Illinois taxpayers of course...

He has already planned his exit strategy from prison. It's too bad it took so long to get him. Everybody knew he was guilty of something and that he used Illinois as an ass wipe and corrupted the entire system. He will never serve enough jail time for what he has done.

The last I heard was from a few years ago. She interviewed at some fancy law firm.
When asked about her biggest case as AG, she replied...
"After years and years of dogged investigation, I uncovered a vast conspiracy of bad actors that had conspired and executed a vast scheme that financially ruined the State of Illinois, undermined it's legitimacy, and greatly enriched themselves.
Eventually, I confronted the leader of the scheme; I called him a "Bad Daddy" and, at my birthday party, I refused to eat any cake or ice cream, or ride the pony he got for me
..I also head my breath and stomped around for TWO while minutes!!"
She got the job...

“Under federal rules, Madigan must serve 85 percent of his sen-tence, which would work out to just over six years. But under the First Step Act, which allows elderly inmates to request placement in home confinement,
Madigan could actually be released much sooner.”

And where did the “First Step Act” come from?

“ Advocates of the First Step Act
The First Step Act saw support from a diverse group of advocates across the political spectrum, including:
Key Figures
• Donald Trump: The former president played a significant role in pushing the bill through Congress, publicly endorsing the legislation.

Kim Kardashian West: The celebrity and criminal justice reform advocate used her platform to bring attention to the issues addressed by the Act and met with lawmakers to advocate for its passage.

Bipartisan Support: The Act received backing from both Republican and Democratic lawmakers, highlighting a rare moment of cooperation in Congress on criminal justice reform.
Advocacy Groups
Various organizations also championed the First Step Act, including:
• The Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce
• The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
• The Brennan Center for Justice

These advocates emphasized the importance of reforming the criminal justice system to reduce mass incarceration and promote fairness.”

That’s how Burke got out so fast. So Kim Kardashian conned Trump into passing a law to help reduce “mass incarceration” (aka consequences for criminals), that will get Madigan and Burke out of prison far short of their scheduled time.
