Former Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy mocked Illinois Democrat Governor JB Pritzker for a video in which he claimed to feel safe in a dangerous Chicago neighborhood — after Trump cleaned out the criminals.
“JB Pritzker today put out another video in Little Village talking about how safe he feels,” McCarthy said when the governor put out his video. “Well, Little Village is primarily a Hispanic neighborhood here in Chicago. That district is down about 55% so far this year in murder. Well, where do you think ICE has been working in Chicago since January?”
This guy still has political ambitions we think.
And speaking of politics, we're noticing a couple other sites wondering why - if Chicago is so safe - why Conehead had a 150 man security detail.

Only the intervention of the alderman can stop the mayor from having such a huge and unnecessary security detail. But, I think that many other elected or appointed officials also have a security detail that they are not talking about. Some have county sheriffs and police officers detailed from districts. I wonder what the accurate and true count really is ?

The mayor has more police officers and supervisors assigned to HIM in his detail than the entire citywide Mass Transit Unit that is responsible for coverage of the entire City of Chicago mass transit, buses, subway El, and their routes etc. Now that puts it in perspective even for this old and retired Chicago copper. Back in the day Willow Springs was mobbed up, don’t know about it now, the mob is pretty much underground in the Chicago area. But what the heck, having a mob influenced mayor in Chicago would be a step or two above a c0mmie mayor.
