No idea if the media did this on purpose or they're just ignorant:

• Former Mayor Lightfoot announces project to ‘unmask’ federal immigration agents

Groot is supposedly a lawyer, worked as a prosecutor (badly from all reports - she was a DEI hire) and headed COPA back in the day, so we assume she has a passing familiarity with the Law. Hopefully, she runs afoul of the current DoJ people and faces disbarment / charges.

But to say she's "unmask[ing]" federal agents, after she spent how long trying to force all Chicagoans and Chicago employees into masks during the plandemic....

Masks keep us safe, right?

Masks keep everyone safe, wasn't that the claim?

But now masks are evil?

Maybe the headline writer is a closet republican.
