In the meantime, this happened in New York City:
An illegal migrant sat stone-faced in Long Island court Monday as prosecutors outlined sickening new details of his alleged babysitting sex attack on a young girl he left needing surgery.
Guatemala citizen Carlos Aguilar Reynoso, 27 was babysitting a 5-year-old girl while her mother was at work on Feb. 1, and violently raped the toddler leaving her bleeding and suffering from internal injuries, Suffolk County prosecutors told the court Monday.
New York has some of the same problems as we do here:
- Police arrested Reynoso just one day later, though not easily as he resisted the cops attempts to detain him, Murphy revealed. He was nearly let loose back on the streets due to a combination of lax state bail laws and sanctuary policies.
Reynoso was initially charged with endangering the welfare of a child, which isn’t bail eligible in the Empire State. ICE would have been barred from picking him up because of the state’s sanctuary policies but investigators issued the alleged perv a desk-appearance ticket so he would be processed and released.
The federal agents then cuffed him on his way out of the precinct, sources said.
They issued a child rapist a "desk appearance ticket" and let him walk out of the station?!?!?
We snidely opined a few posts down that democrats will shortly be thanking ILLEGAL ALIENS for sexually assaulting their families....and it looks like we weren't too far off the mark:
While the five-year-old is a completely innocent victim here, New York certainly deserves everything they voted for.

Trump made an error on opening up the government when it was completely shutdown. The democrats had no intentions of working to fund DHS as was the agreement to end the total shutdown. We had them by the neck and let them go. Another 30 to 45 days and they would have agreed to anything because the public would have been really upset about not going to grandma's for the holidays and the SNAP benefits would not have been paid for the holiday dinners.

I read that with the understanding by issuing the desk release ticket ICE was able to grab him leaving the station. And they wouldn’t have gotten him if he had been held. Maybe the ticket ultimately is the better option. It’s not like he would do prison time in NY. Same as Cook County.
