For all the noise politicians are making about battling the "teen takeovers," guess who isn't a fan?
Despite a Memorial Day weekend marred by teen takeovers turned violent, Mayor Brandon Johnson said Wednesday that stricter curfew and parental responsibility laws are not the answer to the perennial problem plaguing Chicago.
Johnson said 15 arrests were made early Sunday after a car veered into five Chicago police officers and injured them as they tried to disperse an unruly crowd of youths gathered on the Near West Side. But those arrests, he added, did not prevent an even bigger crowd from overtaking the 57th Street Beach in Hyde Park and spilling onto Lake Shore Drive on Memorial Day.
That tells the mayor throwing the book at young people and their parents is not the answer to the problem of unruly gatherings summoned by social media.
Here we go again with the "You can't arrest your way out of these situations" bullshit.

These are mob actions. … There needs to be some sort of accountability for not just the kids but the parents and elected officials. Permissiveness is not working. It’s never worked. All it does is cause bad behavior.”

So today BLM Brandon is meeting with the Pope to discuss: delivering justice for the most vulnerable (like the victims being shot in Chicago?), voting rights (whom in Chicago is being denied the right to vote?), being against the war in Iran and President Trump (would he rather have Iran nuke us in the future?), reparations (how much do we pay for people who were never wronged?, immigration ( how many illegal dependents should we keep paying for?), The list goes on. Mayor BLM has no business in a meeting with the Pope while his City is in chaos. The Federal Government provides Ambassadors through the State Department to deal with foreign dignitaries. Maybe the Pope will figure out BLM Brandon is a flimflam man who is taking the opportunity to deflect the heat off of himself and get that photo op.

United States Attorney General (and former judge) Jeanne Pirro for Washington DC announced last week she is also going to go after the “teens” and their parents in DC.
It's clear as day that Conehead only looks out for his own "folks" no matter what crimes they commit. Honestly punishing them for their crimes is never considered, and it's blatantly obvious as to why.

I lived in 024 when I came on the job. Police response to shots fired calls was impressive. Less than a minute. I bought a home in 016 and it was about 30 minutes if they showed up at all. That was a lot of personell ago and Im sure it has changed. Im retired now and out of state in a rural community. Thank G-d! I dont think I could be the police in Chicago anymore. Be safe!
